Slow news day? FFS, this is basically the same story you "reported" on almost three weeks ago..

Jesus it must be a slow news day, you guys keep "reporting" on stories that have been out there for weeks if not months.

We've know this was pretty much a "last minute" type change since Sony announced the PS4 would have that much RAM.

Still doesn't change the fact of Bushnell's lack of relevance. I'll take the word of third party developers and facts over a guy who hasn't done anything of note in the industry since the early 80s and has no idea what he's talking about here. The development issues that plagued the PS2 and PS3 aren't going to be repeated.

Nolan Bushnell hasn't been relevant in almost 30 years... The PS4's software tools are going to be just fine, especially since they're going to be an extension of what they've had out for years now and many developers are already familiar with them.

Yannis Mallat, piss off with the PR BS and driving this franchise into the ground.

ACIV is going back to its AC roots for me in my waiting until it's in the bargain bin before considering buying it after the rushed disappointment AC3 was.

So, was that the reason for the update yesterday?

@Waynespread Probably, GTAV likely has a budget well over $100M and been in production for years. SRIV probably only has a budget that's a third of GTAV's, if the development team is lucky and a development cycle that's much shorter.

Creating a huge environment like JC2's doesn't cost much when it's mostly jungle. desert, ect.

@Rennar There's a lot more to having more processing power, memory, ect than just prettier graphics.
