Well since you have a GBA, you should definitely pick up Pokemon Crystal. While I do enjoy all of the portable Pokemon games and reccomend them all, I personally enjoyed Crystal the most, so that's my 2 cents.
Well I guess it would be more "balanced," but that completely defeats the purpose of EV training. The point is to have your Pokemon excel in 2 (maybe 3) particular stats. For example, my Electivire doesn't have any special attack moves, simply because its base attack stat is naturally higher than its special attack. Therefore, why should I waste valuable EVs on a stat that I'm not even going to use? I get way more attack and speed EVs that way. I hope you understand now.
America has never had the opportunity to play any of the Earthbound games on a home console (at least that I'm aware of). I know there was a GBA version of all of them (or something), but I don't count that if everyones referring towards home consoles
umm..it was on the SNES. It's not even called Earthbound in Japan. It got the name in America
Shining Force, Galaga (wtf was I thinking?), Kid Icarus, and Bomberman '93 (OK game, but I should've waited until the wii ware Bonberman). I don't regret buying any wii disc games
