Yes, you did. It had the most extreme hype ever, more than Halo 3 or GTA IV. Only beaten by Modern Warfare 2 (which is multiplat).[QUOTE="PRT-CCM"][QUOTE="FIipMode"] Oh okay, I must have missed the thousands of advertisements, commercials and promotions :roll:RadecSupreme
No it didnt. It barely had advertisement. The hype was only in system wars. Sony's fault the lack of promotions this game had.
The promotions were better than recent released games, such as ACII, New super mario bla, and such, and it doesn't change the fact that it will was unrivaled in the hype departmne.t[QUOTE="PRT-CCM"]Personally I think Xbox Live/achievements is better than anything Sony has come up with this generation, and I don't even own a 360krazy-blazerFanboy. See,People like you Don't care to read the thread. They are just ready to flame other systems. Fail. It was my opinion, and if it wasn't innovative/good, why did Sony choose to copy them? :lol:
Halo made video games mainstream, not the PS2. I actually had to show someone here at work that post :lol: OMG thanks for the huge LOL. Good, spread the truth.[QUOTE="PRT-CCM"][QUOTE="BiggGaming"]PS2 brought gaming to the masses this is not really even up for debate. The PS2 is when VIDEOGAMES as a hobby stopped being niche and got cool for everyone. The PS2 remains today as the greatest selling console of all time.

[QUOTE="PRT-CCM"] :lol: LOL, that's worthy of being sigged in all eternity! If you want the BEST of the best on the PC, you'd need the BEST of the best from ALIENWARE corporation. And even that wouldn't be enough to Max CRYSIS. Poor PC gamers :(washd123
now your post is sig
first off you dont need the best of the best hardware to run every game maxed at 1080p 60fps
second if you buy an alienware pc pc gamer or not youre a moron plain and simple. as a consumer you failed horribly.
third the best of the best from alienware which would be roughly $6000 would eat crysis for breakfast lunch and dinner and ask for more.
An expensive ALEINWARE computer would most likely be torn to shreds if it ever planned to max Crysis (maximum AA, AF) om 2560x1600. Hell, even if you wanted to play Modern Warfare 2 respectably, you need at least $1900 on the computer alone. You also need a great monitor.[QUOTE="DoomZaW"]
[QUOTE="BiggGaming"]Incorrect PS2 is the reason.

Nope, it is true. If it hadn't been for NES, gaming might not even have been around. After the Crash back in 1983, every one was sure that the videogame industry was completely dead until Nintendo released the NES who proved that things just had to be done right.
PS2 brought gaming to the masses this is not really even up for debate. The PS2 is when VIDEOGAMES as a hobby stopped being niche and got cool for everyone. The PS2 remains today as the greatest selling console of all time. Halo made video games mainstream, not the PS2.[QUOTE="Fizzman"]
[QUOTE="TintedEyes"] Excuses for FM3's small community even though it just came out :lol:FIipMode
here is some free advice. Read what you write before you hit "submit" You just compared a racing game which came out one month ago to a mega hyped PS3 shooter, which has an active community of 2000 players about 9 months after launch.
