[QUOTE="PRT-CCM"][QUOTE="Doom_HellKnight"] You don't have much experience with real firearms, do you?
Modern Warfare 2 the closest thing to realistic warfare? Laughable.

salxis

Think whatever you want. It's probably the truth, and the point still stands; the game teaches them how to use weapons.

Yeah, a SMG that's as accurate as a rifle in long range, very realistic

Anything is possible, if you're a good aimer - like in all other things.

[QUOTE="AncientDozer"][QUOTE="BloodSeeker1337"][QUOTE="PRT-CCM"] You're wrong, my gentleman. I played CoD: MW2 on the PC (on a really good, high-end PC) with some friends, and I can tell you, that it SUCKED. The controls sucked big time, you can't aim in an precise manner, it doesn't feel realistic, it doesn't feel right, it doesn't feel good. Now, I don't care if this is about having your own opinion, but first-person shooter controls on the PC (for Modern Warfare 2) suck big time. I also played it on consoles (360) at a friend's house, and it felt so much better, so much more precise to aim, and you actually had to practise on your aim, unlike on the PC, which is just WRONG. Now, I don't say that FPS controls on the PC generally suck, because L4D would prove me wrong, but games such as MODERN WARFARE 2 are MEANT to be played on consoles, and the sales APPROVE of this (3 %, lol). Have a nice day.

This made me  FPS Games are generally better on the PC Version because of Keyboard & Mouse 8) It takes skill to aim at enemies and it's easy to control. On the other hand, playing FPS Games on consoles are inferior in control because it doesn't take any skill; Auto-Aim  And it's hard to pinpoint the enemies.

I've always liked the controller more than the keyboard and mouse. Don't get me wrong, the keyboard and mouse are all nice and stuff but they aren't everything. As I said before, it isn't better. It's just different. In the present console generation, the controllers are wireless and thus you have added freedom to move around and be comfortable rather than be tethered to a keyboard and mouse (and if both are wireless, you're still limited by the cumbersome size of the keyboard and the separate piece which is the mouse that, by the way, requires a surface to operate). A controller is much easier to managed as there are less buttons to worry about (or accidentally press; the exception being the Jaguar and we all know where that went). In other words, it is more manageable than a keyboard. And I take exception, by the way, to this talk about "skill". Mainly because you have no idea what you're talking about. All skill is is the ability to do something well. That's the textbook definition. The other being "requiring training to do" and you don't need to be trained to do something with the mouse and keyboard or maybe you do. I see plenty of people suck with the keyboard and mouse. But anyway, no, a mouse and keyboard do not inherently demand more skill. Auto aim or not, it still comes down to reflex and coordination and that's where it matters. That's where the skill comes in. Both still require you have these qualities. I've never had trouble pinpointing enemies with a controller so I don't know what you're talking about. It just sounds like you're regurgitating the same BS PC Elitist Rhetoric. But anyway. I've even used game pads on PC games and dominated, fancy that. So, and forgive me if I'm a broken record here, it really is a matter of preference.

Yeah, it's all about personal taste. If you like the controller more, you're in the MAJORITY. Otherwise, you belong to PC gaming (the minority); Modern Warfare 2 proves this.

[QUOTE="salxis"]Half the people would break their arms trying to fire a sniper rifleDoom_HellKnight

I also forsee a major case of scope eye. That, and bruised shoulders.

I think they would outnumber the Chinese power, and knife half the Chinese army, then use the automatic weapons to mow them down. Exactly like the civilians in the airport scene, the Chinese people would be helpless. Therefore, don't mess with the Modern Warfare 2 army, if you don't want trouble.

[QUOTE="PRT-CCM"] Das excuses... I'm sure they wouldn't have any problems at all controlling a gun IRL, and fighting, since they're playing Modern Warfare 2 (the closest we can get to real, realistic warfare). Besides, the chinese army is all about quantity, not quality.Doom_HellKnight

yeah as said cause playing a game is the same as the military.I mean very little of the people who play these games could command since they run n gun and would think the chopper is computer controlled...

8,000,000 (only in 1 week, and growing) Vs. 2,300,000 Look at the numbers, decide which side you're on, then tell me it's a joke.

Well at least the chinese army has no fear of bad connection and banhammers.

OK, funny, though it has nothing to do with the subject. :)

If the Modern Warfare 2 army got a weapon and fought the China army, the Chinese people would have been slaughtered, in all likelihood. This is how powerful Modern Warfare 2 is.
