[QUOTE="jun_aka_pekto"]

The video game crash came in 1983. Nintendo took off in 1985. To be honest, I didn't really feel the the negative effects all that much. The crash made me play through all the Atari games I already had. I wasn't even finished with them when Nintendo revitalized the market.

When looking at it in that light, the market could use a good crash to sweep away all the crap.

Well said. It can defeinitely use from pruning from time to time!

Being rewarded for each kill just makes the game more realistic or immersive. ShimmerMan
How in the world is it realistic?? Fun, maybe, but realistic?! I don't know about that...

[QUOTE="GeneralShowzer"]Well, yes that was the idea. With DA II too. Expand the game to the infamous "COD Crowd"

That probably was true, but you must remember, ME 2 was fun and it was amazing!

[QUOTE="PRowcester"]I seriously wonder how Max Payne 3 is going to turn out. Please don't make a mess out of it Rockstar! Please! :) Elann2008
I'm excited and worried about Max Payne 3 but I have a lot of faith in Rockstar.

Well, as long as they don't go the console route. I mean, I have absolutely no problem with the game being a multiplatform. In fact, I think its great because the developers get to stay in business that way, but please don't give PC gamers the stiff end of the bargain!
Let us have mods, quick save, graphics customization and all the things that make PC gaming fun!

The only games I have on my PC is Starcraft II and Crysis 2. I pretty much un-installed everything else because they just feel embarassing to be on the same Hard drive as these 2 games1076751
That was funny! :P Yeah I would love to play those two. At the moment, I am busy with Age of Empires 3 :P

[QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"] I don't buy that either. Those people had a choice. They made the wrong choice. I could maybe see your stance a little had they struck at him...but striking at people not involved in the situation....no...it's ALL on them.

It doesn't matter if you don't buy it or not. He did instigate the murders. That's a fact. Those particular killings would not have happened had he refrained like people told him to. His actions have a direct causal relationship to what happened and he was warned about this.

These particular murders would not of happened had the media of the US not covered it/blown it out of proportion. If anything the media is to blame.

I am sorry I have to disagree. The blame goes to the people who committed these acts. On both sides. Please do not defend the muslims in Afganistan who committed murders.

As much as what Terry Jones and his posse did is despicable, as Americans we must defend his right. That is what makes this country special, because we defend the rights of people we loathe.
Also the fact this kind of a reaction is expected from the people a religion really saddens me. Would I react the same way if someone in Afganistan were to burn the bible (or the American flag). No. Nevertheless, I am passionate about my country. So I guess at some point, muslims have to realize what is sacred to them is not necessarily sacred to other. They absolutely need to accept it. At least the ones living in the US.
