I LOVED Halo and Halo2 but...

Two differnet genres... so, between the two, considering I ownly own a PS3 I have to go with past experiences.

Loved super metroid and the transition to FP point of veiw was great.

Metroid FTW.

Nintendo:

New hardware thing a ma jiggy (very possible)

NetFlix support (stretching it)

New Zelda, Mario and Metroid (hoping)

Wii Motion Plus (fo'sho)

New Bundle or price changes (doubt it)

A MMO (Kotor 3)(very possible)

New Pricing model for XBOX Live= pay as you use $50 = 365 days of use(hoping)

1) The graphics are the best on consoles, ask anyone who's not a fanboy or blind. 2) It improved vastly on it's predecessor giving us vastly improved gameplay and AI. 3) It's a AAA game as established by gamespot AND gamerankings and kotaku and eurogamer. Show me some other games that's aren't that great that have accomplished that (besides halo :P ) So the general consensus is that it's a GOOD game regardless of what you say. munu9

I actually have said that it is a good game and that it has good graphics.

Though, I think "HYPE" has made the game seem more than what it is.

The graphics are blurry. The gameplay is wonky... (delay shooting, bad control scheme, slow moving ... even on max sensitivity (for example did you get the R2 patch=big difference).

I wondered if I persoanlly just wasnt getting the game... and it seems now, that there are quite a few people that didn't really enjoy the game because a lot of the same reasons.

REALLY. toggling the L analog stick while trying to use both the L1 and L2 to use the zoom aim and crouch is tuff, its easier just to crouch and not try to use the cover system, with the shoddy AI its not that big of a deal

The controls feel fine to me. I'm on the last boss on veteran mode and got to rank General in online, and I did it all with the default control settings and wi-fi (no lag and only 2-3 disconnects total!).

Strange, quite a few people have had several paged threads about the poor controls and the poor control scheme. I just spoke to a friend at work who said he doesn't even use the cover system when crouching because its nearly impossible on the controller.

Well, he and I do have larger hands.

As much as I loved my PS3... it was no PS2. I paid waaayyy too much for it.

I never owned a 360 so I can't judge fairly but I have to admit, the Wii is alot of fun(I've never owned one)-- with the family and the GF.

The controls are slow and the game was made for casuals... tell me another FPS where you press a button to climb a ladder?

I blew $60 on it and I dont regret it (its not Haze) but it wasn't the game I expected.
