PLEASE TELL ME UR GOING SOMETIME THIS WEEK... (I have a feeling I was BANKRUPT! lol) an 8.0, I usually agree with Kevin on his reviews, but this one is questionable... (Man, I thought at least a 9.0...) A FREAKING 9.3 ON IGN...

2009 is getting nearer every day; I think this is the year that all gamers (Hardcore & Casual!) will be satisfied! Each console has its exclusive package waiting for those fans to DIG IN!

Well there are many games I'm looking forward to but what are my top 10?? Well believe me it was very difficult to choose, but I managed to pull through! :D

My 10 Most Anticipated Games of 2009 are :-

1. God of War III

Comment: Cant w8 for this thing to come out, I'm guessing it should come out by 2009, plz Sony don't delay! , David Jaffe (Original GOW creator said this was the best looking game he had ever seen in his life and that it was better looking than Gears 2 which he thought was kind of impossible for a game to accomplish.

2. Killzone 2

Comment: ever since they put the beta of the game ON THE SPOT I have been hyped about it, love the graphics, gameplay, story... there isn't anything in this game I haven't loved!

3. Resident Evil 5

Comment: although I haven't played RE 1 - 4 (loool) I can spot an amazing game from a good one, and let me tell you this looks AMAZING!(kind of reminds me of MGS4, not sure y...)

4. inFAMOUS

Comment: Sand-box game, controlling this guy who has insane electrical powers, you decide what u want to be, hero or villain?? Looks Cool, sucker punch never lets u down with games , this one is a game u should look out for in 2009 as I have a strong feeling that this is gonna be big!

5. White Knight Chronicles

Comment: I think this game looks really amazing, although not sure about some stuff here and there, but very hyped about it! Actually this gets released in the next 2 weeks in Japan! They say there are 2 game modes one single player and the other online, u play as a character u created and fight online against other players and do missions... LOVE THE CONCEPT OF THE ONLINE!

6. Unnamed Team ICO Project

Comment: u might think of me as a dope for still getting hyped about this after last time, but I'm not giving up on this one, this game will get released some time, it will rock and win multiple awards... but the real question is... what is this game gonna be about?

7. EyePet

Comment: Guys, come on it looks cool ok... IT'S NOT GEEKY, NOT CHILDISH, I'VE ALWAYS WANTED A MONKEY AS A PET AND I THINK MY DREAM WILL COME TRUE IN 2009! :D

8. Final Fantasy XIII

Comment: although this isn't a franchise I play, my bro plays this, I'm still hyped to see how it turns out and how FF will be on a next gen console although I doubt there will be any big changes... (Excluding Graphics!)

9. I Am Alive

Comment: trailer looks OK doesn't show that much, didn't actually understand the plot but wat really has made me so hyped about this is that the same people who worked on Assassin's Creed are working on this and those people rule, so they're bound to do an awesome game!

10. MAG (Massive Action Game)

Comment: when they first announced this game at E3 2008 I was shocked to hear 256 users will be connecting in this game... Trailer looks awesome, the screenshot looks cool, but there has been speculation that in order to play this game you need to pay money, Sony still hasn't replied whether this game is free or not we should just keep our hopes high that this game is for free..

As we come near to the end of the year, the announcement of the GOTY is getting closer! With amazing games released this year, only ONE game will come on top! (Although there has been a couple of years where 2 games won the title...) Which game will come on top this year?

Well before 2 years GeOW took the title (X360) & Last year Super Mario Galaxy (Wii) Won! This year has to be the PS3's year! I hope either of these WIN!

1.Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of The Patriots

First PS3 Exclusive game to gain a 10.0 from GS! Amazing graphics, Amazing Story, and even better gameplay! Will Solid Snake come on top this year for the very first time ONLY TIME WILL TELL!

2. LittleBigPlanet

One of the Most Anticipated games of 2008! A solid 9.0, everything u dreamt of doing in a game is in here :D Building your own lvl the way u like, the way you want... One of the games I really want, it's a shame that I can't get this until Feb...

The main reason I don't want GTA IV to win because now its multi-platform + GTA already won GOTY once... (Nothing against the game, it looks amazing but I don't think it should win...)

I think you can recognize all the banners & images in my profile (lol) IT'S FINALLY CLOSE... THE RELEASE DATE OF PRINCE OF PERSIA!! Each hour that passes, feels like a day to me! :) You Guys might think I'm joking but this is the truth...

Now I've heard a few criticisms about the art direction from a few people... And let me just tell these people a few words: SHUT THE HELL UP! SERIOUSLY!! WTH IS WRONG WITH U? I love the new art direction, love the story, love the concept of a revolutionary ally (Elika) and the combat looks sweet! Just because it doesn't look REAL, doesn't mean it sucks... (e.g.: Super Mario )

This is one of my most anticipated games for 2008, and now that it's near I just can't imagine what the experience would be like in the first 10mins... The previous trilogy got me stoked, loved all 3 games, although I only got to finish 1(lol) One I didn't buy and the other one the CD got messed up (don't ask, long story...)

I hope you can all agree with me, that this isn't a disappointment... this is actually a positive move for the whole POP team! This shows us that we should never judge a game by the art direction (which 95% of all gamers seem to do these days...) they took a few risks and they scored... I just hope this game lives up to its hype! (CROSS YOUR FINGERS: D)

In our current generation of gaming only 2 titles have landed a perfect score from Gamespot, the first being GTA IV... and the second Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots! But the true question is there gonna be a 3rd? No one really knows for sure, the next might be next week or next year but according to Media Outlets, these are the most likely ones to get it!

THE NOMINATIONS FOR THE NEXT 10/10 GAME ARE:

1. Resident Evil 5

Resident Evil 4 nailed a 9.5... Similar Gameplay, better Graphics, a more original Storyline, Co-op Mode, An impressive Ally cooperating with Chris... I really believe that this could be it!!! The next 10/10 Game... The real question is whether Capcom has the potential to raise the bar that high...

2. Gears of War 2

Although I'm a Sony Fanboy, I have to say the truth... This game has everything to get a 10, I mean the previous one took a 9.6!!! Chainsaw battles, better graphics, bigger monsters and bosses, the only down side of this getting a 10 is that I can't brag about this game being exclusive to my Favorite Console... :(

3. Killzone 2

With This game comes another question: The FIRST 10/10 FPS IN HISTORY OF GS? Why not?? According to Guerrilla Games this game is gonna be very cinematic (like Heavenly Sword Standard) Online Multiplayer, Impressive bunch of weapons, and according to Gamespot the graphics are one of the best they have ever seen!

4. God of War III

God of War & God of War 2 got 9.2 and 9.3 respectively, and that's on the PS2! Imagine your playing hell on PS3!( War between the Titans and the Gods) A less blurry Kratos! Killing is more Brutal!!! IF I HAVE TO NAME ONLY ONE NOMINEE FOR THE NEXT 10/10 GAME THIS WOULD DEFINITELY BE IT!

5. Fallout 3

OVER 30 HOURS OF GAMEPLAY! Taking the Game Critics Award for best Game at this year's E3! Elder Scrolls IV Oblivon got a 9.5, how much do you think this can take? Imagine Oblivion but more modern... YOU GET FALLOUT 3!

Well There you have them your most likely 10/10 games! Guys when I mean 10/10 I mean PERFECT! Resistance 2, Final Fantasy XIII and many others are excellent games but I don't think they're so good to take a 10! We're talking about games like MGS4 and GTA IV!

I just want to begin by apologizing for not updating my Blog, I've been a bit busy with University (this is my first Course, Studying Architecture) and you know how busy this Major can be...

Anyways, I AM SO DAMN PISSED!!! WTH WAS THAT??? THAT WAS THE WORST TGS I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED IN MY WHOLE LIFE... I thought GS said Sony was gonna announce 14 NEW GAMES!! Where The HELL are they?? Another thing that made me even more pissed!! NONE AND I MEAN NONE OF MY PREDICTIONS WERE CORRECT!!! (This is not funny!) All of you might think I shouldn't Predict anymore in my whole entire life, and that's what I've decided to do... (MAN THAT WAS SO EMBARASSING!!!)

Man, I really wanted Team ICO's new game to be announced, I'm really desperate to see a peak... :( I swear I thought TGS was gonna be the event that SONY was gonna shine bright...

Although I'm REALLY PISSED, I'm actually quite happy that LBP got a 9.0 from GS & a 9.5 from IGN! That overwhelmed me... It doesn't really matter for me that it's delayed one week, cause I'm gonna buy it like on December or January... But everyone when it comes to religion everyone should respect it, even when it comes to games!

Guys, I am so freaking hyped about this year's TGS! I don't know what it is, but I sense this one is gonna be BIG... and most importantly BIGGER for Sony Fanboys!

For all of you who don't know what TGS is: it's a video game expo / convention held in Chiba, Japan, Like the Leipzig Games Convention, but in contrast to E3, the Tokyo Game Show allows the general public to attend during the final two days. As a result, it has much higher attendance than E3.

October 9th is the Day!! But what's Sony got in store for us at the TGS 2008? Well I'm not sure but according to media outlets these are my predictions:

1. Team ICO's New Project Announced: The guys who did ICO & Shadow of Colossus are working on a new game... said to be a Playstation 3 Exclusive! Both Games gained over a dozen awards, including the nomination for Game of the Year Award! They posted a Screenshot last year but it wasn't that helpful to tell you the truth.

2. Kingdom Hearts III Announced: We all know it's going to come someday; this would be the perfect place for Square-Enix to announce a much hyped game... Nothing is known whether this game is gonna be a PS3 Exclusive or not, from what I'm guessing this game is coming only to the PS3. (Sorry AMD91)

3. A FREAKING HOME Release Date Announced: (Some of you are gonna try to calm me down but I can't stand it anymore!) I Swear if this thing is delayed one more time I'm really gonna freak out, I'm just gonna lose it... This is usually the time period where the Launch of Playstation Home is Delayed, Just hope they don't do it... PLZ GUYS DON'T!

4. Dark Cloud 3 announced: "The Zelda Killer" is back for sure, I'm 90% sure this is gonna be announced because level-5 developer confirmed they were working on a new Dark cloud, let's just cross our fingers for this... :D

5. God of War III Update: Look a 1-minute peak isn't going to shut us up OK! After a couple of years and this is what they give us... I'm a HUGE GOW Freak but if I'm gonna say the truth, that Teaser trailer was the worst thing I've ever watched! I doubt this will happen it's too early for this, but heck why not; they should give us an update, how about a better trailer! :)

On Sept 30th SCEA announced that 14 new games would be shown for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable for the first time at TGS 2008, 12 of which are being internally developed. Out of these 12, 9 are for the PS3 and 3 are for the PSP! The other 2 I'm guessing is KH3 and something else... Uncharted 2, Maybe the Exclusive PS3 Rockstar title! Dark cloud 3 and team ICO's Soon-To-Be-Announced title also in the 9... Maybe a NEW Jak Title!, Tekken 6, Who knows anything can happen...

Konami is also announcing some new stuff (I Know what everyone is thinking of.... Metal Gear Solid 5??? :D Why not, Hideo Kojima himself said it himself he would be interested to work on the franchise once again, although I doubt an announcement like that will happen, it's TOO Damn early!) Maybe Zone of the Enders 3...

Yesterday I was re-looking at my blog posts and come to think of it... I always wrote about games! I know, I know this is GAMEspot, and the whole point of coming here is to know more about games. But, this is my blog and I believe we should take a small rest from worrying about them, at least for one week... :D

Anyways, yesterday I had one of the best moments in my life :) I bought a mobile... Not any MOBILE, the SAMSUNG i8510 INNOV8.... (btw if any of you were wondering INNOV8 stands for the word Innovate, kind of stupid I know!) This impressive small device has everything you want!

It has 8/16 GB internal memory ( I bought 16 :D) the latest Nokia software: Symbian 9.3, MicroSD card for MORE memory if the 16GB is not enough, 8 Megapixel Camera, GPS, Wi-Fi, able to play DivX Videos, Secondary video-call camera (3G), FM Radio, TV Out functionality, FIFA 08 & Asphalt 4 Games, 2.8 inch screen, I think you get the idea. Anything that is possible on a mobile phone is here!

This is the first 8-Megapixel Camera to be on sale in the world! The images captured with this device are in very high quality, the Best I've seen on any mobile till now.

They're kind of small I know but I didn't want over lapping... Video Recording is also quite impressive with VGA@30fps & QVGA@120fps.

I Recommend this mobile to anyone who is in need of a phone although it's quite expensive... (about $800) you won't be disappointed believe me...

After seeing the Eye of Judgment I got more & more interested in the Playstation Eye and what it can do... And let me tell you from what I've seen this is the most Awesome thing I've ever seen...

The PlayStation Eye is capable of capturing standard video with frame rates of 60 hertz at a 640x480 pixel resolution, and 120 hertz at 320x240 pixels, which is "four times the resolution" and "two times the frame-rate" of the Eyetoy, according to Sony. The PS Eye has also a built-in Microphone which allows the peripheral to be used for speech recognition and audio chat in noisy environments without the use of a headset.

Now most of you will think WHO CARES, ITS JUST A CAMERA RIGHT? Well I also don't care about the freakin resolution what we care is about the games that it's compatible with...

There are 3 main PS Eye Games including The Eye of Judgment, about 75% of people who own a PS3 don't know anything about the 2 other games I'm Talking about... To break it down to you guys I'm going to show you in detail what the 2 other games are.

1. EyePet

This game was announced at this year's Game Convention; the game uses the Playstation eye camera to allow a virtual pet to interact with people and objects in the real world. Using augmented reality the simian-like creature appears to be aware of its environment and surroundings and reacts to them accordingly. The player can place objects in front of the animal and the game will interpret what the object is and respond to in. For example, if the player rolls a ball towards it, it will jump out of the way to avoid being hurt. It will also react to the player's actions and sound allowing the user to, for example, tickle the animal or clap their hands to startle it.

I know, I know Very Cool... the very first time I saw this I was like... How can they do that, is that possible? :D

2. Eyedentify

Eyedentify is a game where the player is the controller of a team of game characters using the PSEye. The game was first announced at E3 2005, accompanied by a trailer.

The game has not been heard of since its announcement at E3 2005, and it is unknown when new information will be available regarding the title. Recently, IGN's information on this game changed to reveal a release date sometime in 2008, no other information from the developers has been released. GameStop has begun taking preorders on Eyedentify and has a slated release date of February 1, 2009.

This game sounds cool, but the trailer just doesn't give much... The concept is weird too; I think this game will be cancelled as no info has been released on it since 2005!

Well there you have it a peak of the future of the Playstation Eye, you guys might agree or disagree if this is the coolest gaming apparatus (Wii Lovers) but in my opinion other apparatuses have not evolved gameplay in a way like the PSEye... For every PS3 Owner out there this is a must-have for your Playstation 3.
