I recently started doing the career mode with my own game face and stuff, and most of the equipment doesn't show up/work when I start playing a game. But in a regular quick game it does work, just not in career mode.

PS: I'm still really dissappointed that they took out the EA Trax this year and they took out fantasy draft in franchise mode...seriously what fun is that. It's cool to shake things up and have every team draft players from scratch. The AI is so strict on trading to...wtf.

Both operate on the 2.4ghz band so interference is possible depending on how well your microwave is shielded from letting radiation out.

other devices that operate on the 2.4ghz band

Portable phones

360 controllers

Many remote toy cars

Foliage-King

Yeah that was the word on the street. But the thing is this happened recently...possibly from when I restarted the router because of a DNS error from Comcast or something. Before it was just fine with the microwave on. I heard that you have to change the 'channel' or ports and stuff. That is really confusing for me though.

Recently everytime the microwave downstairs would go off, it would disrupt my internet connection. Either it will kick me out of the game or just lag for a long time. I usually have great connection if the microwave isn't going off. It goes off in the wrong moments too at some points. I have a linksys WRT54G. If anyone has any experience or knows how to actually solve this problem it would be of a great help. Thanks.

I have a 120 gig slim. Sometimes (not frequently) it would freeze. I would try to turn it on with the controller, works. But just keeps blinking and not connecting. I hook it up, it works. I restart, same thing. Same with bluetooth. I keep fiddling and restarting, then it works. I wanna know if its serious, if I'm the only one in this, or if its normal or something. No, the batteries aren't dying. They are in stable condition. I use a wall charger too, if that has anything to do with the problem or something. No idea.

They said they're done with Vegas. Doomtime

Co-Sign

It was already confirmed that Vegas is done. Would like to see another Rainbow Six game nonetheless.

Sounds serious. My former 3 60gigs died by ylod. I predicted the third one. It be came real weird..don't wanna go into detail. Get rid of it. It will cause you problems and will break down anyway. No doubt its the best version..people may hate me for saying it..but I wanna save you money and time.

Sources: Experience.

That's a little messed up tbh. I know ive done some bad things to gamestop and it's consumers, but selling a gimped "console" to another person who will drop a pretty penny for a PS3 that will soon brake a couple days after is not cool. What do you think he would say about the playstation or sony?? Your not helping anyone, but yourself (which isn't a bad thing, but still messed up for a fellow gamer down the road)

If I were you I would call Sony, let them know about whats happening; also tell them if it's true that they have discontinued give refurbished 60GB?? If yes, then tell them what they'll exchange for your current 60GB model. Ask themwhat model Playstation will they give you and if possible to send you money for a new one or to replace it for a new Slim. (Why not, you dropped 600 on that thing)

If all else fails say... F*** YOU!!! :P

Nocturnal_Speed

I got my refurbished 60 gig in may. 90 day warranty is done. I even asked the guy politely over the phone, and obviously Sony being the greedy company it is, wouldn't accept my system. I emailed customer support explaining why I should get it for free because I invested 600 dollars at the time, plus another 150 for repairs, and bound for another 150 for repairs.

..they didn't take it seriously and said "check your power supply or vents"...

I was so pissed at the time. Anyway. Gamestop just checked my system on saturday. It passed all the tests and I got my 120 gig. So it's not totally thrashed. It just has some issues.

My advice: Keep it.

I've lost trust for 60 gigs.

Ninja_Zombie83

I am in the same boat. I honestly have to sell a lot of my games when I buy new ones simply because I'm running out of HDD. Although nothing is wrong with my 60GB, now seems like the best deal I am going to get for trading in my ps3 for one that has more memory (forget the slim, I like the fat one...) Although you arn't really helping matters by giving retailers a ps3 with little life left in it, If it breaks within 60 days or less, the person can always return it or exchange it for another ps3. Likewise its people like yourself that prevent me from getting a used console.*Honestly* I would sell it while you can. You can get a good deal now where as you might not even be able to in the near future.

Yeah that's what I'm saying. This deal offers a guaranteed $150 if you are trading it towards a slim. This probably means that they are planning to give you less on your PS3...which is another gamestop scam. I never buy used consoles myself anyway. Trust me, if this deal wasn't going on, I wouldn't trade my PS3 less than $100 which is the expected amount considering it's gamestop. I would buy a brand new one. This is just an open opportunity that I can't refuse right now.

So recently I got my cousin some Component cables to play his ps3 on HD. He doesn't have a fancy LCD or plasma, but it's a wide screen and quite old. But it goes upt to 1080i. We installed the component cables, no problem at all. We played some hardware games, no problem. But when we played Battlefield 1943 and Burnout Paradise, it wouldn't show up, it was black and fuzzy everywhere to the point of which you can't even see anything. Fat Princess worked fine though. I am seriously confused. Help anyone? Thanks.
