Hey all, my flat mate has a VERY unusual issue with his PS3 and some EA games (more specifically Bad Company, Bad Company 2 Demo and Skate II) and was wondering if anyone here could offer some help or at least let me know if they have heard/experienced it at all.
Basically he cannot join an online game but he can log into the servers and get all his trophy information, rank etc. He searches for a game and it finds one but then gets stuck on the "Joining Game" bit. He can use a different machine on the same network and log into his own PSN and get a game fine so it appears to be a problem with his PS3.
After trying everything from port-forwarding to re-installing game data and save data nothing has worked and so we contacted EA and they were baffled. They were very helpful but couldn't solve the problem and told him to contact Sony as its sounds like a hardware compatibility issue.
Anyways he has an 80GB infamous bundle PS3 (can't quite remember the model but I will get it and update my post later) has anyone else with this model PS3 had any trouble connecting to and EA game online?
