I agree, the Domination matches are just a waste of time against S.V.E.R. however most of the time I do find my squads to be a little dim. There's to many of them that just run off on their own not bothered about winning and caring to much about getting kills. CoD is the cause of that but soon im guessing they will get bored and move on at which point the teams will be more balanced.
The minute they find out, *gasp* "Game that's not Call Of Duty DOESN'T play like Call Of Duty!" they immediately lose interest.

I know, well that kind of what im waiting for with MAG. At the minute theres too many CoD kids playing it but im sure (like you said) once they get bored and relise it isn't CoD the games should get much better.
I agree, it's really bugging me how everyone is comparing it to CoD. Even my friends ask me about it and start the whole "is it better than CoD? whats it like compared to CoD? do you have killstreaks? is it CoD!"
The 60GBs have by far the highest rate of failure. Just buy an old PS2 off of Ebay or Craigslist and let the good times roll.

Agreed, if you want to play PS2 game - buy a PS2. Don't get me wrong it is cool having it all on one system I also had a release 60GB but not having the BC feature isn't that big of a deal to me. You can pick a PS2 up now for cheap.
I hope they don't start charging because the free online service is one of the BIGGEST selling points about the PS3. It would be stupid of them to do that however the optional premium service I would welcome. Their sales are flying up (and above 360 eventually) because finally everything is where and how it should be and this would just mess that all up.
I'm sure some will argue differently, but I always viewed a PS3 (or a 360 for that matter) as being kinda pointless without an HDTV. For myself, I didnt even consider buying one of the consoles until I had an HDTV.

Not true, the 80 GB BC used a software emulator but it was only partially compatible with PS2 games. Until Sony can create a software emulator that is 100% reliable and 100% hack resistent, I do not believe that they will put PS2 games on PSN.

Yeah I know that but i've heard that sometimes not syncing the official headset using the USB cable can cause problems. Did you use the cable or the search function?
