There wasn't a huge change from the originals, but compared to 9 out of 10 of the FPS's out there it was great. Single player was solid and the multiplayer is a complete blast. Still a fun game that has an amazing amount of replay value.

thank you so much. this opinion makes so much sence simply because you realize that yes it's not the greatest game ever, and it never claimed to be either, but at the same time you know quality when you see it. halo 3 is a solid and well made game that is alot of fun, but some ppl for reasons i just don't understand seem to just deny the fact that this game is well made weather they personally like it or not. i don't like racing games but that doesn't make grand turismo and piece of crap, i can still see what makes it a good game and why ppl like it.
That's not what I'm saying. I don't like it because I wasted $60 on something that I hoped was worth it. It sold 300 million dollars worth of copies, yes, but the returns are over half of that. I constantly see people on LIVE that absolutely hate this game because they waited 3 1/2 years to play the same game with new stuff. It's like a nightmare expansion pack, really. By the way, I don't like GT either, but I respect it because it's a landmark in game design. I LOVED Halo up until now. If Halo Wars turns out like this, I never want to hear "Halo" and "good" in the same sentence.
5.0 at best man. They hyped it up and PROMISED it would be good. They deserve nothing more than to get what they asked for. Attention, whether it be positive or negative.
Yes. The gameplay is completely the same with gadgets, which try to do some good but fail miserably. The story is ok, but it is completely predictable. The multiplayer is half as good as Halo 2, putting it lightly and Forge isn't even a true map creator. The main concept of it is "Spawn a bunch of crap and kill your friends!". This game is as shallow as a kiddie pool, and we should all punch ourselves for buying it. (Moderators, if that crosses the line AGAIN, let me know and I'll edit it out. Seriously.)
Thats why all the critics are giving it good scores. I love this game, but I really wish that they would have given us some MS points and discounted everything in the marketplace. way better deal.
Group chat, definitely, but what they need is to be able to play DRM music. All they have to do is get permission from the major record companies. Not hard, considering they're Microsoft. Also, playable DRM videos (i.e. Ask A Ninja Podcast, iTunes TV shows, etc.). Also, I would like the XBL window to go back to the way it was. Same with marketplace.
How do i overclock my processor? I have an AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ dual core and i cant find a function to overclock it. Also, my computer says that there hasnt been a driver for it since June 2006, apparently. can anyone help?
