first of all the story mode consists of 5 stages. no matter what character. each stage is composed of 1-4 character battles.
there are 25+ characters to choose from. each one of these main characters you can change their look, armor, etc. very awesome. you have total customization.then there is "Create-A-Custom" where you can create a totally new character. and you use the armor and stuff youve unlocked from playing the game.you can also use the armor pieces of the main characters. and for this custom character you can give them and of the 20+ fighting styles that the main characters use.
as i said before total customization.the game overall is easy. but if you want a challenge then you can bump up the difficulty to hard.
only hard mode in the game is Tower Of Lost Souls. it was I think 100+ floors. and on each one. when you meet a requirement. unlocks new armor.the online play is fun.depending on what kind of person your facing.
playing with you friends is the best feature in the game. as always.
oh and each characters can purchase up to 8 weapons. just wanted to throw that in. ohhh and one more thing. in this Soul Calibur there's skills that you can equip on your character that affect the battle. like "Nullify Ring Out A" which gives you a very high chance you wont get ringed out.
overall. if I had the money. id buy this game.
