The Wii U does not even have a hard drive, meaning it will probably stream game data much slower than the 360 or PS3 (unless the optical drive is super-fast). Hard drive caching makes it easier to work with less RAM, so I feel unsure about this.[QUOTE="PandaBear86"][QUOTE="razgriz_101"]
remember its a console, lower memory footprints and less background tasks on the go means you dont need as much running at once.

It will allow for external HD connectivity tho.
Thats weak. USB cable is lower than SATA, and not everybody will have HDDs, which means that developers will assume that their general audience will not have them and will not optomise for hard drives at all. Hard to believe a console in 2012 without a hard drive.[QUOTE="Elann2008"]768 MB of RAM, of any which 3 ram types. Doesn't fit well with the rest of the specs. Seems out of place.razgriz_101

I never played Ultima Underworld, but I would do anything for an Ultima 8 clone or remake today :([QUOTE="ActionRemix"][QUOTE="DragonfireXZ95"] Clones... Right... Not even close buddy.AdrianWerner
How is that similar to Skyrim in any way? The only similarity is that they both have large outdoor environments filled with enemies, and thats about it.Minecraft.

I have been wondering this for some time. Why are there countless games that want to be like Call of Duty (Battlefield, Medal of Honor, along with loads of other shooters), yet there are hardly any games that want to be like Skyrim, or even Dark Souls? Yes, Call of Duty made heaps of profit, but Skyrim and Dark Souls also did the same (although they make less profit, its still enough to make any company happy). Anybody else feel that developers should consider other ways to make money instead of "hey, lets make another modern shooter with cookie-cutter online features and 5-hour single-player campaign"?
Since when did "featureless" and "generic" have anything to do with skin flaws like blemish, acne, etc? If a female supermodel has no skin flaws, does that mean she is "featureless" and "generic"? Unless expectations are different for females? No, characters in games just stopped looking like featureless, generic anime/cartoon characters(not including JRPGs). Look outside your basement for once, and you'll see that most people in the world are hideously ugly.
