Thats not how healthcare works. Under a socialized system everyone is treated, if you want to pay for a private physician beyond what the government provides you are STILL free to do that.

Just to break your sterotype I'm 34, married with 3 kids, have a high paying job, love my family, sports & video games, have fantastic parents, and I'm fascinated by religion, study it all the time. But I'm still an Atheist, and proudly.

Healthcare is on a needs basis. There aren't that many people skipping serious doctors visits b/c they can't afford it. If we need more doctors we hire them, thats a boon to the healthcare industry. The problem with this plan is that it doesn't cut out the middleman. Insurance companies are overhead in the industry, they don't provide healthcare they manage it expensively with a goal of cutting costs. We do better if we cut them out and go single payer. Unfortunately these corporate democrats we speak of aren't proposing that. Obama and Hillary want a handout to the insurance companies.
