I haven't picked this game up to play since I set it down back in September. I thought I would play it some to get good again and then possibly get the Omega Dawn (?) expansion. I wanted to chuck the thing out of the window.
Haha, I walked into bestbuy on december 31st, not too long after the release and there were 3 left on a rack, I got a 60gig. It was an unanounced sale because of all the hype so I guess I got hella lucky.

Yes, you trade in all of your unlocked guns and abilities and start over new, however, your stats will remain the same (i.e. kills, deaths). Hope this helps.
like the others have said before me, practice, meditate (haha), and finish campaign (at least on normal). When you want to start playing online for real just make a private match with bots and set their difficulty up and go at it. I was the same way, I got my ass handed to me the first couple matches, now I'm doing average to awesome online. Also, avoided ranked, pure servers if your worried about ruining your leaderboard stats early on (they have a small unreal logo by where it says if the server supports a mouse and keyboard). As in going from Prestige lvl 55 to Prestige 2 lvl 1, like with 5 star general lvl 55 to Prestige lvl 1? You make the call, prestige is only there for replay value and to show you earned your "stripes" so to speak. Hope this helps. (?)

I think it looks neat since it is a new twist on how WWII ended. I think I'll check out Gamespot's review first and then decide on whether or not to buy it.
