I can live without Online, the VC is doing fine enough for me, big titles are coming. But I REALLY want more in depth games, I hate ****ing mini-games.O_Rly_FTWI agree 100% aside from the big titles point. Big titles to me are not Nintendo franchises. I could care less about the new Mario or Metroid game. I want some new ideas or new things from 3rd parties. I'm happy with my Wii purchase, but lack of 3rd party support is going to make my library for this console very slim.

It's redoctane and harmonix price gauging the consumers. Microsoft aren't the ones who tell the developer what content to put into the game.Well, if this is true, its a completely stupid idea. Just put the tracks INTO the game. Its not that hard.
Just another example of microsoft price gouging there customers in idiotic ways.

[QUOTE="PantsOfFury"][QUOTE="darksusperia"]no no no!!! no freaking cover system in halo..good for realistic games, graw, R6 etc not for halo.JOHN117_basicThe cover system in Rainbow SIx Vegas made the game unrealistic and it is now no longer considered to be much of a tactical shooter either. I think Ubi gave in to what the Halo/Gears fans wanted and made it unrealistic/simple for online play. I'm not saying that unrealistic/simple is bad for Halo online play, it's fun that way, but it absolutely killed what Rainbow Six used to be about.I dont agree with your statement because in real life soldiers use cover all the time. So with that being realised your statement doesnt make much sense. Just saying. Absolutely they go into cover, that's not my problem, but when soldiers go into cover they cannot see around that cover without exposing themselves a little or using a seperate tool. In Vegas you can see what's around cover without exposing yourself at all. THAT'S what's unrealistic, and ruins the gameplay.
Sorry if I sounded a bit snappy, but I didn't mean it in a competitive sort of way. I enjoy playing tactical shooters with no respawns, and when you're playing long rounds it can be a huge pain having to sit out for nearly 20 minutes simply because somebody peeked to find out where you were. Radars and seeing where people are in run & gun/party/fighting games is fine. No harm no foul there. The only time I've ever complained about losing is if the host was using standby and the rest of the room agrees, or when people used to use Action Replay on Rainbow Six 3. Those people are worthless and ruin games like that.Whoa! This must be a sore spot for you. Are you one of those guys who says, "I would have won except..."? I'm not exactly playing videogames so I can put it on my job resume. I guess I have a lack of skill, because I like using a radar, then I don't have to spend the whole time looking for someone to shoot.
Isn't it a little silly to compare videogames to real sports? I know that in a real gunfight you wouldn't have a radar, but you'd also not be able to reappear five seconds after you got killed.

[QUOTE="PantsOfFury"]somebody being able to see your screen sets you up for failure, then I can't stand it...aransom
Can't you look at your oppenent's screen and set them up for failure too?
There's nothing wrong with splitscreen. It's a lot cheaper than buying multiple consoles.
Fixed your quote, and I never said anything about buying multiple consoles did I? I thought this was about splitscreen vs. online multiplayer. Of course I could look at my opponent's screen, but the deal is I can't stand people who are so incompetent at a game that they have to know what their opponent is doing and where they are at all times in order to be even remotely effective. You take that same person and play against them online, and they prove that they're 100% worthless unless they have a full-time radar (also as bad an idea as splitscreen for shooters).
Doing LAN parties with multiple consoles in a house and people who are on the same team playing on the same screen is fine. But think about it. If you're playing a Capture the Flag match and you have to hide until your teammates can return your own flag for you to be able to score, is it exactly fun to have somebody being able to see where you are, regardless of whether they should be able to in-game? It might be for you, but to me it just shows a lack of skill and would be the equivalent of somebody hitting off a Tee in a competitive baseball league.
You people might not know this...but i am a very manly man...i have big hands...the lite must be for little kids because its really not comfortable...
So in conclusion Big DS is for real Men...DS lite is for little kids..

I happened to find the fat DS very uncomfortable simply because it was shaped in such an awkward way that you'd have to have deformed, not large, hands to be able to play comfortably for more than about 30 minutes. The DS lite, though basically rectangular (which typically isn't that comfortable of a shape to hold for very long in the way you hold a DS), is much more comfortable for my rather large hands. Hand size has almost nothing to do with how comfortable a controller/handheld is to use. Button placement and shape of the controller/console are what makes comfort. Look at the XBOX 360 or Gamecube controller. Those are widely viewed by people of nearly every size as the most comfortable controllers for any console.
Being someone who could palm a regulation sized basketball at age 10, you can imagine that in the 10 years that have passed since then that they have grown quite a bit more. The old DS nor the DS lite isn't for "Manly Men". It's a matter of preference based on shape/button placement.
