Thanks guys, it was my first build so i took ages on the wiring to get it all nice and tidy.

The silver trim is perfect for post-its! I forget things a lot so its there in-front of me all day.

If its that annoying confirm box thing that comes up every time you want to do anything:

> Control Panel (in classic view)
> User Accounts
> Turn user account control on or off
> Uncheck box, OK
> Restart

i worked out what it was for me, my CPU cooler wasnt connected properly. Its my first build so i could only refer to pics on the net and it all looked ok. i had a look through bios after the restart and it was around 85, so when more installing got thrown its way it went over and the system switched it off to prevent it getting too much damage.
Good job its only an old P4 im using as a stop gat until July 22!

ok, im going to order this afternoon, just need a final check over, ive already got my monitor and GPU (8800 GTS 640)

Asus P5K Deluxe wifi, £145

Will buy processor on July 22, will use an old one as a stop gap until then
As my mobo supports 1333fsb, should i get one of the new 1333fsb processors over the 1066 e6600? is the difference going to be that great?

Corsair XMS2 800 2GB 5-5-5-15, £65

Corsair HX 620W, £97

Western Digital 250BG 7200RPM 16MB, £42

Thermaltake Tsunami Dream W/Window Black, £75

Samsung DVD +/-R RW 18x SATA, £20

im buying soon and trying to get my hands on a 226BW, all the reviews ive read it has been branded their new fav 22", its real good from gaming too. You just have to be careful of the whole S C A panel issue, which really blows.
cant seem to find many reviews on the 24", just the one good one on o/cers online
