~$2228 without peripherals. RAM may be a little overkill, but it's still well within your budget.

That motherboard is also pretty future-proof considering it will be compatible with Intel's next line of processors, the Penryns, and it will also take DDR3 1333 RAM. You probably don't know what either of those things mean, but it's good - just search the forum to see what they both are.

im looking at what mobo to get for my new rig, and are trying to future proof as much as possible so was also looking at this one. just a small question really, it says in the spec that it takes DDR3 ram, yet on the wishlist you have put in DDR2 ram, this would not work right? just like you cant put DDR2 into a DDR slot?

OK so ive been offered a brand new, only taken out of packaging to check the panel type samsung 226BW S panel, which as im sure you know is the highly soft after and Superior of the three panels.

The price is £380, which personally i think is a wayyy too high, as you can get an A panel and mess around with it and nearly get the same performance for £240, what do you guys think? There surely must be a better monitor out there for that kinda money?

Im plannig by build a new rig in the next couple of weeks.
You say that the whole 1:1 FSB:Ram ratio is good, so if m planning on getting a Q6600, @ 1066 should I buy 553 instead of 800 ram? Also, when you say "unless your going to OC", is that OC the CPU or the ram?

Ok ive made a few more changes due to finding a little more extra cash, primarily the Corsair PSU and also HD 2900 XT, as this appears to have now taken over the 8800 GTS - anyone know how this card does with BF 2 or BF 2142?, or how long it will be before they sort out the AA problems?

Any opinions would be great

I couldnt find any info on the site either, stuck it in google and found a link to CNET where it says that they dont, scroll down to "Store Policies", then under "Delivery Methods" international shipping isnt ticked

Its a a shame that these sites dont make it nice and clear
