You'd think by now you guys would really know better than to believe anything said about a MGS game before its release...

Do the right thing, Crytek, Put Crysis to bed and let the Darksiders vets make the 4-player sequel they had planned.

So yeah, it didn't tank in sales. Pretty sure that rumor about the series being canceled isn't true. And my original point was that "overrated" probably isn't the term you're looking for.

@Suikogaiden How is a AAA budget game with an A aggregate on Metacritic overrated again?

@Baroni88 Was thinking the same thing not too long ago. I miss fighting over mammoths, shooting down banshees with missile pods, jumping ramps with brute choppers, etc.

@MaskRisen A millionaire applied for a loan to start a company. Not sure how that's a handout...

Also, the project created 400 jobs. If Amalur had sold better it would have been a successful investment. There was nothing wrong with the concept, just the execution.
