Just played some more and I honestly don't know how anyone can even play the game, let alone say it's the best game this gen. Elders Scrolls was all about immersion, but how can I get immerse when everything is so terrible? AI is so bad, you can leave a building full of enemies, rest for 3 hours and they won't even follow you. Animations are glitchy as hell, like when you do a third person "brutal kill", it speeds up and down irratically. The way animals and NPCs move is laughable. The world is empty, with so much filler. The atmosphere is beyond bland, and it feels fake and sterile. The script is as awful as ever. There's nothing that's gripping me. Maybe Witcher 2 and Dark Souls spoiled me. :(

What a childish argument he's presenting...going up close to a few textures instead of looking at the overall art
(not to mention how he's seemingly devastated because it's not crysis-esque) And that's from the first 30 seconds.

Listen to what he says about the UI.
His whole review is childish so its hard to listen to anything he has to say. Even if it is right or wrong. We get it you don't like the game so please stop bringing negativity here because the rest of the people here love the game
Sorry for having negative opinions and being disappointed in a game I was really looking forward too.
[QUOTE="TheOtherTheoG"][QUOTE="moose_knuckler"] Quotes like this usually incline me to purchase it. How does it rank up against Oblivion? Backstory: I give Oblivion an 8.9/10 and felt dissappointed overall, considering it won more GOTY's than Gears of War.moose_knuckler
It improves on Oblivion in pretty much every way, simple. Maybe bar the menu, which looks very nice but is rather clunky on PC at least, other than that it's better in every way. Good to hear :D. I'll be sure to bump it up in my want list.
Skyrim sucks... Imagine Oblivion but with a blander world.
