This is literally what Gabe meant when he said he didn't want to put stress on fans. I'm getting a mental breakdown every time I read news about HL3 appearing and disappearing from existance.

I don't understand why everyone wants multiplayer for this so bad.. I'm glad we finally get a survival game that's designed with single player in mind. If I want to do multiplayer survival I can always pick up Minecraft or DayZ.

@Merkasaw Eh launch titles are almost always incomparable to games that come out later in a console's lifecycle. Remember how Resident Evil 1 looked and played on the ps1? yeah.. Compare it to the later ridge racer and gt games with severely improved graphics, much more on screen action and smoother gameplay, I have not lost hope. And exclusives, at least on the sony front for me, have always been worth a console purchase in addition to a gaming pc. :)
