[QUOTE="marcthpro"]there low chance dell will allow you to do such when you buy there machine it mean to work only for that machine or other dell machine it a sad thing.darksusperia

you can call ms and pay 40 $$'s for replacement media, then install, then call ms and say ur machine died. They then provide a confirmation code to activate your copy of windows... MUST only be installed on the ONE machine tho.

If I install it on 2 machines what will happen lol.

^^^ Famous last words :P.

You will need to add more ram in the future most likely but that should be easy to do.

Quite Extreme yo ;)
what your opinion E8600 OVerclcoking around 4.6ghz with air cooling ? or
Q9550 / Q9650 Overclockign the best for money and it not nehalem guy. i saw the hexus review it deceiving
http://www.hexus.net/content/item.php?item=15015&page=8
may not touch nehalem before next year or middle 2010marcthpro

I am waiting to see how mature the chipset is for nethalem on release, plus I don't see a reason to have more than 4 cores atm seeing as I am not in to Image/Movie editing, and i walk away from my computer when i copy dvds onto it.

I would recomend 4 cores just cuz I multitalk like no other and I like to listen to my music while I game, and a 2 core proc. will slow down when you run Winamp, Crysis for example(not that I ever plan to own that game, I played it and it is way over hyped IMO)

Everything I have heard about the Corsair 1000w is great, it is basically 2 500w PSU put together, if I remember correctly.

Even though I don't need it, I want that 1000w Corsair, it is a very nice unit.

Yeah, most systems don't require that much juice, just curious what all you are planning on getting that would need that nice PSU?

ch5richards

yea unless someone recomends a PSU that i just fall in love with I will probaly go with the corsair, and as for what is powerin, the list is below.

Water Cooling for my CPU, which i will eventually expand when the need arises.

The CPU will prob be a Q9550 or whatever the quad is that is right below the extreame. but i may weight for nethalem idk it depends on the speed of my mod/build

Also I am powering a dvd/drive/burner/bluray drive, A cigarette lighter/cupholder/2 5.25 fan controllers controlling 12 quiet led fans.

And I am gonna start with 2 1tb drives in whatever raid constantly backs up on the info on disk 1 onto disk 2, then after that i am gonna add another 6 HDD

and along with Lights etc. you see where i am going lol

I am looking for a very power efficient and powerful PSU.

I've been considering the 1000W Corsair but I have been looking around at other PSU's and was wondering if anyone else had ny recomendations.

Before I get a message saying I don't need a PSU this powerful, I do. With the extensive mods on my case, liquid cooling(DC Pump), etc. I do infact need at least 1000W.

Thx for taking the time to help me out. I have no budget(moneys not an object), and PSU size is not a factor.

I am looking to get a great set of Suround Sound PC headphones and a soundcard as audio is very important to me, i mean like hella important.

I am looking for a soundcard that can in/out a coax cable

And For headphone I am looking for Full Size headphones that I can wear for long periods of time with out the head phones feeling like a vice.

while money is a slight object I am open to sugestions.

Also I mic boon of some sort is nessary.

THX

PS> Right now I am leaning toward the Razer Barracuda Soundcard/Headphone Combo, as I have tried them out and I like them but I am still open to suggestions. :)

Jesus Christ.

I own a pair of the Barracuda headphones. I like them, but I feel bad recommending them because SENNHEISER makes headphones in the same price range that sound a lot better. Anyway, the mic on it doesn't work for most people, including myself. I'm guessing that's why you bought the headphone amp?

The Barracuda sound card costs far more than what it's worth. I saw it for $50 a few months ago, and I figure that's about fair. If I were you, I would go for an X-Fi XtremeGamer instead.

kodex1717

Do you know a place where I could try the SENNHEISER. Also I am looking for a pair of gaming head phones with a removeable mike, that I can wear a long time without my ears getting sore, thats why I was going razer cuz I had tried there products b4 and they sounded great and were confortable.

And do you recomend the other gear instead of price or performance?

Thx
