Rental for me too, I have to say I thought it was great. But I expected a bit more, the moves are all fun and running on poles and stuff is awesome, but it feels too much like a run-and-gun. The only reason I played it a few more times was to see how I could kill enemies differently and to get all the moves. Plus, on the description it says '7 levels', I hope those levels are VERY long or I for one would get tired pretty quick. Multiplayer sounded and looked interesting, but I'm still renting it first.
Another problem with Sports games is that not everyone may be a fan of the sport, you won't get a game of a sport you don't like unless it's free gamerscore I guess, so that means they won't sell compared to other stuff. Anyways, for me, a GOTY has awesome gameplay, and a compelling story if there is one (heavily replayable if no MP) and if there is no SP then it can keep me going on Live for a long time.
I have a little, because I bought it around September last year, if I waited a bit longer, then I could've just got an Elite (It may just be coming out in Europe in August, but hell, I hopefully coulod've waited that long).
I've sworn never to touch another Dynasty game again, Warriors 5 and Gundam have been tormenting me since I played them, luckily it was a rent and the demo.
I'm guessing Baird, since he's the only one who doesn't have a real past we know of if I remember. Marcus has his whole father thing, Dom was looking for a woman, most likely his wife. Cole we know was that sports player and I remember something about him and a trial, and the Colonel has a grudge with Marcus.
