Good for sales I guess though, not much competition so far in 2008 compared to Q4. Plus it gives more time to perfect the game, which will be best for everyone.
Perfect Dark Zero has a lot of weapons, some of them are quite fun too, nothing standard. Same with FEAR, some interesting weapons there too. Also, GRAW 2 is a little more standard in terms of weapons, but its a lot of fun and there are a few interesting weapons too.
Got mine ordered when I saw the E3 Trailer and read the interview. Can't wait for Mass Effect, and with any luck the book can hold out my patience until it's out (probably not).
I dont know why they wont add a deathmatch to gears of war now. because if they can add a game mode like annex whats stopping them from adding a deathmatch (except maybe spawning problems). And I think that Gears 2 will follow the story of the locust and you will play as the horde. I think this because at the end of the game the queen says "you don't know why we wage this war..." which foreshadows an explaination of the begining of the war.DonMega187
As long as it doesn't turn out like Halo 2's Arbiter, it could work. Longer and better Campaign, a massive multiplayer, preferably glitch-free. Some new weapons, maybe vehicular combat, then I would be interested.
I personally am not really hyped about a sequel however, I agree the game was awesome, but it's an effort for me to play. I could wait a while before a Gears 2 comes on the radar, give some space for Halo 3 and some of the other big games coming to get set up in their fanbases and such.
Perfect Dark Zero is pretty good, cheap, Co-Op, lasts a while. Good if you have Live too, and is pretty much a nice game, especially for Achievement lifespan as well.
