Actually, this brings up a good point. How IS the PS4 going to get HDR when the requirement for HDR support is HDMI 2.0a with HDCP 2.2. The PS4 only has HDMI 1.4b with HDCP 1.4 support. They can add it but TV's may fail to even recognize it unless there is some HDMI trickery going on under the hood.
Nice, looks like they added the specular highlights and water effects on Batman that were in AK. Water pooled on thr ground reflects the world around it, they updated textures, lighting, fire, and character models. Overall looks good, but I'm curious if this will be a separate game on PC or if PC gets the upgrades as an update.
"And that's the moment we all stop and think," he added. "It's not about revenue; it's not about what benefits EA."
Lol. sure it's not about revenue. That's all it's about for a company. Public opinion is just a hurdle that gets in the way of making maximum revenue. Instead of trying to guess if something is 'player-first' how about actually listening to what people are saying and make changes so that those points of interest don't exist anymore.
- Better quality control on products being shipped, perhaps allow delays without penelty for added game features and testing to be performed.
- Stop releasing games with small iterative updates year after year, and give them a break so larger better implented features can be created.
- New IP, take a risk, but give it a good shot rather than half assing it. Some new Ip will not make it, but if the game is well thought out and marketed well, it can do fantastic.
