@nl_skipper: Maybe that's a way to lower expectations. I think critics will not get too hard on it if the story doesn't work, because they are told it is not a foundation to a whole trilogy.
If it sells well, they will announce a sequel, I'm sure.
@nl_skipper: I'm thinking they are going to launch it as a rushed release, make monthly updates to fix stuff and create free dlc to add content (that should have been since release into the game).
Like Mafia 3, which could have been great if they had more months.
@wrestlingdude: That's what happens when people only read the tittle, they give ignorant opinions.
If you had the trouble of watching it, you would see their points, what they think of the 5-year making period and many other matters.
So before telling GS team to get real, maybe you should at least watch it to form your opinion. After all, those guys work in this business, you didn't even watch the video.
Don't know if it was her fault, but this new version of Lara (Tomb Raider and Rise of The Tomb Raider) is so uninspired.
The attempt to make Lara a "serious" character made the story so silly and flat, with everything needing some "realistic" explanation that just showed how silly and unreal the whole premise is.
I do think Lara needed some modernization (a non-sexualized female), but she just became a fragile woman committing mass murder with silly melodramatic monologues that attempt to convey depth, while only making the whole thing a bipolar convoluted story.
