There was one game -can't remember the name- that made a good strategy to punish and control players of free copies without legal action. They simply made a destructive creature that cannot be killed nor stopped and harasses the ass out of the player, likely scare them pissless until the pay a redeem code to block it for the sake of their misery. It's smart since,a developer does have the power to do that and hacking it out could just pull the tree by the roots rendering the game broken. Heard the developers' evil laughs that day...
The way I see it, releasing on console first sorts out the bug occurrences, market sales first on lower hardware devices before the more powerful PC port, and lets not forget the trending value of their title during the several months time lapse between console and PC release dates. They need that budget for future prestigious Rockstar releases and we don't need another Final Fantasy 14 Efff up.
Ok? So, Rockstar didn't disclose a PC date therefore a portion of PC gamers saw it as a no-release for the title. Is this the case what started the petition? I don't recall any announcement that GTAV would not be released on PC/MAC. I'm sure Rockstar will make the release despite the existence of the petition; they'll keep a support for all fans of gaming aside from the incentive of having more sales on anthoer platform.
@nintendoboy16 @endorbr Well I am impress that nintendo is bringing other favourable titles to the system. If nintendo is simply covering aspects that held it's predecessors behind the other consoles the I can only see a positive reception. Satisfying the margin.
Well GT5 is the first in it's series for me to own and love. Since I'm here has anyone played GRID? Wish they make another title of that instead of the DIRT series.
GRID got me back into racing games which lead me to buy GT5.
