@ SgtBeetle75 Even though I sent this to you in a message, Gamespot FINALLY loaded this article up. But you say a few free games and some Home stuff on PS3 isn't enough. So I guess the free Identidy Theft Protection Sony will be giving you for a free to protect you isn't good ether right? I mean, thats a 2,000 dollar investment that Sony is actually fronting the bill for, for over 77 Million Users. And that isn't good enough for you? Why do people like you keep forgetting to mention that?
@dohji Haha...hmm...you say thats why you never put your info and such on consoles...but you say you go to Rite-Aid and buy PSN cards...You do know, in order have access to any consoles online function, You have to give them basic info like your name and address and such to prove that you are, really you? Of course you do, because you had to have given them your info so you could create and register your PSN or Live account. *facepalm*
@Justinisrad And you do know Sony is offering people Protection from Identity Theft for free? If people do not jump on that offer, then a year from now, if Joe Somebody has your identity, You cannot blame Sony, because you did not take up their offer of free Identity Theft. And you cannot blame someone for Someone Elses Criminal Activities as well. regardless of how out of date or up to date their security is
@SgtBeetle75 A Month of PSN+ for free sounds about right to me. The service was only down for 3 weeks. If you were expecting a life time membership or 6 months for free because something was down for 3 weeks, then...thats your bad for not having logical thinking patterns. I do think it shoudl be any two games for PS3 that came out between 2007-09 though. But if you were expecting a lifetime of PSN+ or 6 months of it...then...lol on you.

@ Giancarlo I hate Gamespots editors so much. I really do. You are giving this man higher ground to speak to the masses, and not only does he go on a clearly biased PS3 rant, forgets to mention how Sony is offering FREE IDENTITY FRAUD PROTECTION, He doesn't say anything about hackers, He doesn't say anything about the time when a few hackers brought down Live and actually compromised and used CC Information, He brings up NONE of that what so ever. Instead of writing about Hackers and how we need to step our game up in fighting them back and protecting ourselves....He just goes on a biased rant about PS3 and doesn't even mention and how to fight the real bad guys...The Hackers...at all. I'm telling you Gamespot. HIRE ME. I will work for FREE. No Biased Opinions, I will actually do my research and I wont just put out the negatives and "forget" to mention the positives that is being offered. Such a waste of a good platform to spread awareness...and this man just goes on a biased PS3 rant.
@Giancarlo Giancarlo Varanini......You say none of the stuff they are giving us is really free....Even though none of us are giving them any kind of money for this Welcome Back Package.....I have the choice of downloading any two out of five games for PS3 That I don't have to give them money for. A free month of PSN+ that once again....none of us are paying for, through straight cash or a PSN card....That sounds free to me. I have yet to hear or read about anyone experiencing Identity Theft strictly because of the PS3. You also forgot to mention in this article that Sony is actually giving all of its users protection from Identity Theft for a YEAR. A service that would cost a lot after a year, which will be given to us for free. You say Sony was terrible because they waited a week to tell us what happened. Hate to break it to you, But most companies, when faced with something like this, ALWAYS WAIT before going public about it, in hopes of being able to quietly fix the problem as quick as it can. In most cases, some companies of Sony's calibur waited damn near close to a MONTH before letting costumers know. (continued in next post)
@gamerxxx89 Mafia 1 was alright....not the best, It got bothersome everytime I would run a red light and have half of the police force on me. Mafia II looked amazing graphically...but The game was straight up shallow. Nice big world, that you couldn't even fully explore like you can in other Sandbox Style Games. No free mode where you can just drive around doing what you please.
