Funny, you would think Gamespot would take their own advice when it comes to this article. They nitpick at the dumbest things and when patch updates are issued that fixes key elements in games, They don't bother updating their review at all and will still knock said reviewed game as an example when it comes to reviewing the sequel for said game. and this right here realy urks me "Furthermore, even waiting until day one to test the game online (which we've done on occasion) is an imperfect solution, because there are generally a lot more players hitting the servers a lot harder during the first couple of days than there are a week later." It shouldn't be occasionally, it should be mandatory to play through the single player campaign and play the online aspect on day one, with no kind of problems what so ever The review should ether be up at the end of release day, or in the morning of the second day of the games life. Just because other people are playing the game online should NOT effect the reviewing process at all. Thats pretty much them saying "Man, I don't get paid enough for this! I keep getting killed by players!" Lets face it, with cutscenes, SP games today are only give or take 8-9 hours. You get up, play and beat the single player aspect by dinner time, take a break, then play the online aspect for 4 or 5 hours LOOKING for any kind of flaws of glitches that should be addressed, then you review the game. Nut up Gamespot. Get good reviewers for once.

@HT89488 Did Sony personally go into their own systems and destroy it to the point of it being down for almost three weeks and pass around personal information? No, That was actually a group of hackers committing federal crimes.

@ all 360 Fanboys. The reason we are stil defending Sony is because they have done nothing wrong. Hackers have. How is that so hard to Understand?

I just want a true next gen Nintendo Console. Thats all I want. I want a great Nintendo Console, with great graphics, sounds, worlds and characters. I want great 3rd party support. I don't want a Wii2 with 3D, shovel ware and outdated technology. I play games to be blown away by gameplay, graphics and story. I use to be a huge supporter of Nintendo. Then when it finally dawned on me near the end of the N64's life "Wow...I will never get a true great game on a Nintendo console unless Its a Mario or Zelda game or a game from Rare" Then the Gamecube came out and in my view, the only good things to come out on a GC was RE1 remake, RE4, Wind Waker and, Mario Sunshine. I only brought a Wii to play Twilight Princess because for some reason, Nintendo thought "Hey, lets release it on the Wii on Launch day and Delay the Gamecube version for another two months!" The Wii this generation did not produce anything ground breaking except Mario Galaxy. While Nintendo may be in 1st place this console generation when it comes to sales, the fact remains, They abandon the Gamers that made them what they are, that grew up playing their consoles since the NES, in favor of Shovelware and halfassed mini games. Hate on my opinion all you wan't, but its the truth. Big ups to them for being successful this generation, but they lost a majority of their fanbase because of their greediness.

@ChromeOC Welp, its obviously you've never had a girlfriend. its 2011 dude, not the 1920s-1930s anymore. I personally think its dumb to constantly have Male leads in every single game to come out. different stories and different forms of gameplay can be done if people would actually focus on making a good game with a great female lead.
