-360 can do 4X MSAA on Gears of War 2 online. 4X MSAA is unheard of on the PS3, the most that I've seen any Sony 1st party devs pull off is 2X MSAA. Seeing that all Sony first part shooters have to turn off AA during online MP; Uncharted 2 &Killzone 2 that's why KZ2 and UC2 online don't look as good as their single player.
-Sony was very lucky they picked up MLAA about five years into the console war. Some may call MLAA cheap but I call it Smart. Since MLAA cost about as much as no AA, Sony can pull off some very hard task thatprobably wouldn't be possible on the PS3. Again Uncharted 2 only use 2X MSAA but ND had to turn it off in their 5 vs 5 online MP which kind of shows that the PS3 have hit a brick but MLAA came to save the day.
-Gears of War 2 online have barely any flickering at all, compared to Sony 1st party games that still can't solve the flickering issue. MLAA have been reported to add flickering so I guess it's something Sonymay never solve.

Let me break it down nice and simple.. PS3 hardware IS more powerful than 360 hardware.. However.. 360 coding is more efficient and easier than the ps3 platform Ultimately, coding effeciency is everything and can make a weaker system run better then a more powerful one And a side note as a PC gamer.. why do some consolers tell PC enthusiasts that graphics don't matter? And then argue between themselves which console has better graphics? This is irony on the extreme end of the scale, hypocrits or what lol! O'rly.. So I guess you know more than IBM, John Carmack and many other third party developers that say otherwise, eh?
