Well... that's disappointing.

Of course he said that, he's biased: he has his own IP's, Medal of Honor and Battlefield to consider. He wants COD to take a year off so he can sell millions of additional copies of one of his brands.

The campaign for Black Ops 1 didn't get the credit it deserved. Story, music, and voice acting was really the best in the series so far. This, too, looks promising.

It didn't start that way at the beginning, but Treyarch has really become the best thing could have ever happened to the COD franchise. Props to Treyarch. Do it up, and do it right. And make sure you bring zombies back!

@abompro Red Dead Redemption sort of touched upon that, but even R* hedged its bets by setting the game past the year 1900. 1860's gear was terrible at best. Misfires and terrible accuracy would make the COD kiddies all over the world rage quit and spout even more hatred into the XBL and PSN ether. Glorious...?
