a VCR would just be a piss take trying to find videos nowWollsnah man, it seems like there is always someone on craigslist getting rid of their VHS's. If you are trying to find a specific movie itd be a pain, but im not that picky.
I enjoy both Blur and the verve . I have never heard of supergrass or James though, Ill have to check them out.I don't really care about Grunge, but a lot of the great Brit Pop bands are coming back. Blur are touring again and might make a new album, Supergrass are still around, The Verve made a new album recently, and James are still making albums.

[QUOTE="Plzhelpmelearn"]my bloody valentine already had a reunion tour. not a new album though....Stone Temple Pilots just released a new album
Alice in Chains found a new Frontman and released a new album
Creed released a new album
Soundgarden are touring together again and will probably make an album
There are probably more that I can't think of.
Who is next?
What if Nirvana found a new frontman and made a comeback?
Or better yet if my bloody valentine released a new album, that would be pretty sick

I've seen DVD players for as low as $30, brand new. Why go with much outdated technology, when you can go with recently outdated (but still very used) technology.CRS98Well 30 bux is cheap though still 3 times that of the price I paid for the VCR. I went with the VCR because people practically give away VHS tapes nowadays. I've seen people sell whole boxes of them for 5 dollars, and these are good movies too.

They're grossly overpriced, and they tend to be pretty useless as well. As others have said, you're best off backing up any important files (important as in financial documents, not important as in your limewire library), reformatting your harddrive and re-installing Windows.
Does Dolly Parton sleep on her back?A couple weeks ago I bought a VCR for 10 bucks. Since then I have bought 50 movies (ranging from all dogs go to heaven and fievel goes west all the way to Mulholland Dr. and Silence of the Lambs) all for less than a single blu ray disc. While I did this because I am a poor college kid, i can't help but wonder if having the newest technology is worth the 100s (maybe thousands) that getting all the same movies in moderately better picture and sound quality of Blu Ray would cost. Soooooo I can't make a poll option but what type of consumer are you?
Newest technology that dazzles for a price
Older technology that offers the same functionality but not as pretty.
On a side note, in the butterfly effect previews had an ad for the newest technology called "DVD" which i though was pretty funny.
Hey, I keep trying to upload a new image for my user icon but everytime I upload a new image it automatically goes to the first image I ever uploaded for my icon (which happens to be a very hairy man with a heart shaved on his back). When I upload the image there is no error and i know it is a good size, but it just always reverts back to this original image. I can, however, change my icon to various GS ones, so I am not suire what the problem is....help me please.
[QUOTE="Plzhelpmelearn"]i don't think we ever have to worry about Nirvana coming back. Dave Grohl is too busy with the Foo Fighters, probably, and plus, he and Novoselic have TOO much respect for Kobain's memory to soil it like that. what if they got brett Michaels!?!?Stone Temple Pilots just released a new album
