[QUOTE="sonicare"]So you consider a person supporting the republican party to be "anti-intellectual"? I'm not following.. I think both parties are anti-intellectual. They both use fear mongering instead of reasonable debate to attract the masses.I'd like more political options, as well. I'm a conservative but I'm not some crazy anti-intellectual that seems to gravitate to the republican party as of late.

Both republicans and democrats are pushing for more government control. The only reason I liked Bush more was because he didn't try to ramrod through any society changing legislation, though he did get us involved in a majorly expensive, unnecessary war. Anyway, they both are in bed with big business ultimately. They both take my money when I make it and they take my money when I spend it. Almost anything I do, they find a way to take money from me somehow. I wish we could just have a government that protected us, maintained a transit system, and could regulate big business to prevent abuse and exploitation of the lower class.
he didn't close guantanamo. FAIL. The white house had nothing to do with don't ask don't tell. A couple senators are doing that and the white house "approved".
[QUOTE="FrostyPhantasm"]Have there ever been any bass guitarists that sing? It's very common to see lead singers also play lead guitar or rhythm, but i can't recall any bassist singers.MetroidPrimePwn
Gene Simmons.
The lead singer of Slayer.
Marco Hietala of Nightwish.
It's not as common as having the lead guitarist sing, yeah, but it happens.
Doesn't green day's vocalist play bass? I think he does. Anyway, while being a bassist in many bands is nothing more than a second rate guitarists job, a truly talented bassist can shoot a bands talent into the stratosphere or even stand alone without a guitarist (see les claypool for one of the more famous)
I think he should not be allowed within a thousand yards of any govt building, nevermind working in one.
These two member groups have several things in common (like names for one) and similar styles of music. Which one do you think is the better group...
My opinion: I'd definitely go with the black keys. While I do enjoy the white stripes, I just feel like Jack White is a terribly overrated guitarist mostly because of rolling stone pouring copious amounts of praise on him.
