Hey, I like the name! Strike Vector.... Such a unique name!
It's better then lazy, crappy, one word names like Uncharted, Resistance, Dark etc. We need more games that takes chances with names, as well as gameplay.
The link is to show the cost to having such a cheap console. The reason why PS4, Xbox one, and Wii U is so cheap, is because the people who make them are treated badly. By all rights, PS4 should cost much more then $399.
In other words, if you want the package version of Enemy Within to be cheaper, then something has to give. Like having Chinese students do the packaging for free. That will make it cheaper.
@Gelugon_baat Are you saying they shouldn't pass the additional costs to the consumer? Cause that would mean there is no reason to sell it to console gamers, since they can't make money.
After 3 to 5 years, I don't think it will cost that much. Because they will have better tools to do things like global illumination, and massive amount of polygons.
We already have ZBrush for the polygons, now we just need enough power to add them to games in real-time.
@lucas182 There is *NO* Research, no Base Building, no Base Management, no Non-Linear maps, no Manufacturing, no Money Control, no HWP/Tanks, and no Interceptors.
But if you want Mass Effect, have man-on-man action (no really, there is a LGBT character), with lots of DLCs, then you hit gold!
@DankNasty The combat is very, very much like Mass Effect. But there are no RPG gameplay, no open world, no Non-Linear maps. You just go to your hub/base and pick the next Linear story mission.
Well, I would like this game to try to be a rip-off of X-COM instead. Maybe even X-COM Alliance. Barring that, I would like it to be a rip-off of Dungeon Keeper, or Evil Genius, or Battlezone 2, or Dragon Commander, or Alpha Centauri, or even Terraria. Anything but Gears/Mass Effect.
