They can't just announce the peripheral, and not have a major game to back it up. There are currently zero games out, and few announced that will even support it. That light saber game, right? That's the only one I know of... So all logic points to the unmasking of a major title (or several?) that support this new addition. Only a few pop into my head right away that could make significant use of it. Zelda, Pikmin, and possibly Star Fox. Zelda being the most prevalent , and the most obvious choice as a major supporter of 1:1 motion control. Before Twilight Princess was released, there was high hopes for 1:1 control anyway. And even BEFORE the announcement of MotionPlus, the likely hood of the unveiling of a new Zelda was substantially high. Most would be more surprised if Zelda WASN'T announced. Of course, this is only an educated guess, but I think a new Zelda us coming up on the horizon. And I do acknowledge the fact that some other games, even games that have been announced for a while, could have had features integrated, to take advantage of the MotionPlus. Animal Crossing seems like it could be one of those titles. Fishing, catching bugs, cutting down trees, all have the possibility of being improved, and made better with the addition of better motion controls. Or, I could be totally and completely wrong, and I'll be blindsided by what's announced tomorrow. But that's what makes hype, and speculation so fun =)
And here are the major parts I've decided on: 8800GT Video Card 4gigs of Ram Intel Dual Core E8400 3.0ghz Processor How high of settings will something like Crysis or Age of Conan run on that? I plan on a resolution of 1440x900 on an LCD monitor. I'll probably be running WoW at first, but yeah hahaha
I'm buying a brand new PC, almost solely for gaming. I mean, I'll use itunes and all that jazz, but not for pictures, or much video, or any of that. I don't want to spend much more than $1000 for a PC at one time. There is one computer I have in mind, and I do plan on upgrading the graphics card in the near future. But I want to run games like Age of Conan, and Warhammer Online when it comes out at high settings, but I want the pc to be pretty upgradeable as the newer and more high tech games come out as well. I'm a bit of a newb when it comes to this kinda thing, I only have some pretty basic knowledge, and I'd much rather buy a PC, and upgrade it over time, and not just build it myself. So how's something like this? http://www.gateway.com/systems/product/529667891.php all I want to do right away is put in a GeForce 8800gt, and I'll probably give it more RAM as soon as possible too. But other than that, I was thinking I would leave it as is. (sorry for making a topic that's been done a thousand times, but I wanna be sure about my choice before I just go out and buy it)
I have done research. I thought about Uncharted, and it looks good. But I don't want to play a game that will only last me 8 hours or so, even if it does have replay value. I want something that'll last me those two weeks waiting for MGS4. If it wasn't for the fact that I already had the multi-platform games on my 360, I would have decided to get one of those. I'm just asking for other's opinions to help me along.
As the topic title says; I'm buying a PS3 next weekend. But, I want to buy a game along with it to hold me over the two weeks after that before MGS4 comes out. I have a 360 as well, so a lot of the multi-platform games, I already have. Assassin's Creed, The Orange Box, games like that. I don't have CoD4 yet, and I thought about it, but I'd rather have a great, long single player games. Not one that focuses way more on multiplayer.
My current PC, isn't exactly "mine" it's my parent's PC that they bought about 4 years ago, and they're completely against the idea of upgrading it so that it can game better, so I'm left to buy my own. I was thinking I would buy a home office computer for about 4 or 5 hundred, then just put in some upgrades to make it a good computer for gaming, but I dunno how good that is or not. I work part time for minimum wage, and it'll take me quite a while to save up for a good gaming PC, so I'm looking to spend not much above 800 if I don't have too. So what should I do? 'cause I really have no clue how to go about getting a new computer. I'll mainly be playing MMOs, and maybe a few shooters. Age of Conan is what I'm hoping to run great.
Yeah, it's graphical power. I just got a 360 for Christmas, with Orange Box and Assassin's Creed. And having great graphics like that really add to the game. I still love my Wii the way it is though. I'm having a blast with Mario Galaxy.
