save the exra $100 and buy a 4870, it is an awesome card. And dont judge any card on crysis Iv seen a quad 3870 setup only manage 45 average fps, its a poorly codded game as far as I can tell. the 3850 is a better choice but the 4870 is worth the extra $$, Nvidea kills its good cards with new ones like every week, just search how many Nvidia cards have been released in the 16 months, theres well over 10, and only a few are worth buying. The 4870 X2 just came out and I guess its amazing and atleast ATI is actualy introducing new technology and not just clocking the vram at insane speeds to achieve short lived performance gains.
