Chime in. Is anyone else a little sick of the overhyping, marketing, silly consumerism of the games industry lately? Sick of the sequels, of the N4G gossip stuff. The Mountain Dew product placement, the fanboys, the Wii defenders. Where are the hardcore console gamers at? That hate the way the industry is going. Too many sequels, not enough innovation, holding back disc content so it will go DLC. Pushing titles up to holiday season, EA rushing titles, pointless yearly updates, and a gaming drought for half the year. All the things that make the connoisseur of games disappointed with games. Where is this voice in games journalism? Where is this voice on forums?
