What? That makes no sense. A petition isn't inherently crying. If that is your best argument for not having a petition you should rethink your methods.
So the developers know their is a big need for it. It is just a proactive measure to the developers essentially saying "Hey look over here, us PC gamers want the game as well"
It certainly can't hurt, so what is the problem exactly?
Right around the 5:07 mark and how he talks about the trimming of fat or however he phrased it and how he liked it is exactly what I think as well. Right down to the stat allocation and how he found it fun to play multiple Paladins.
Diablo 3 would of been a great game if they slapped anything but the Diablo label on it.
@Lycheepeel I have no problem if someone wants to "pay to win"... but I don't want to pay to win and in fact in Diablo 2 I could easily beat hell difficulty without ever having to trade items. Trading items was simply something I would do so my character was stronger and I could get past content faster and easier.
It wasn't an absolute must to trade so that I can even have the slightest chance in hell (inferno in this case) to progress. I expected that if I chose not to trade or traded just a little like I did so in D2 I would still be able to progress, albeit at a slightly more difficult rate.
In Diablo 3 if I forgo the auction house to progress in Inferno I might as well just forget about it. I am sure I could progress eventually down the road, but by then I won't even care because the journey would be boring as opposed to fun.
@Lycheepeel The main problem with all of this is that Blizzard is making itemization in a way in which the Gold AH and RMAH are the main way to get items specific for your character with the right properties needed for inferno mode.
They are leading the dog to the treats purposely due to its game design as opposed to the dog finding the treats themselves void of any influences by the designer.
It's disgusting. Diablo 3 just came out an I don't even feel like logging in anymore.
I never understood why people have to argue about what console is better... I like my Xbox 360 more than my PS3 for a variety of reasons... big deal, its simply a personal opinion. I also like pepperoni pizza over mushroom pizza so?
