@Rooten Exactly.. some of those exploits seem too real, and even if they seem legit, you still doubt! well, at least no bank account details got snatched with this stunt, so I guess it's just cannon fodder.
@LittleSaintGoph I wasn't too sure... sometimes I get emails from my bank, asking to confirm my account details - judging the 'sent from' email address I could easily judge it was a fake, but I'm not familiar with the different type of Ubi URLs and email addresses...
Daily I sit with virus, hacking and malware patrol - once I got the email I smelled something fishy, even though everything seemed legit. I just thought an email like this wouldn't come out for no reason - there must have been an exploit. Few minutes later I learned on Facebook what went down - but, was even that legit? O_o
Agh, well.. there are mixed feelings. Mario has been a part of my life since my first Gameboy at a young age, carrying on on the NES, the SNES, Nintendo 64 and the Wii. But I mean - how much longer can a brand like Nintendo carry on tailoring on the same game concepts over and over again, and actually get away with it. It's more the originality that's becoming more like "oh, another Mario title..". I have tried a lot of different games on the Wii, which were not in the Nintendo gangbang, but many were just so lame, because the Mario franchise just has a hardcore burn-mark, which means that the core Nintendo icons just are the best looking, and best played games on the systems (no offense, Zelda and Nintendo-branded associates)... doesn't that kind of put a limit to a gaming system? I would get sick of my PS3 if the puppets of Little Big Planet were the only games popping back on to my screen each and every time.
