I just finished Suikoden 2 and I'm looking to play another story oriented JRPG. Here are the games I plan on playing:

Trails in the Sky (Played through about 20-30 hours already)

Playing JRPGs is such a time commitment that I really don't want to spend 40+ hours and not be satisfied with my progress. I've started Trails in the Sky a long time ago so it'll be hard to get back into it. I was looking for a good JRPG with a great story so I purchased all of these games a long time ago but never got the time to play them. I was going to add some SMT games but damn, those games are tiring.

I'm not looking for recommendations because I've probably already played it.

I'm having a heck of a time trying to decide which to play first and how my list should be ordered. If I want to play a game with a great story, how should this list be organized? I loved Xenogear's story much more than I did Suikoden 2's story.

You make a good point and it's probably the reason why we're left out. However, the majority of the club members are 4.0-5.0 out of 7.0. I would self-rate myself as a 3.5 and my friends about the same. It's clearly not because we're not friendly, but because they consider us to be lesser players. My friend talks to them more than I do, and he chooses to leave early all the time. It just sickens me to look at the face of people searching for excuses to not play doubles or singles with any of us.

I have joined a Tennis club at college and played with them for two semester already, however I've never been "part" of the gang. It frustrates me in a game like Tennis when you can't find someone to hit with just because you're "new" to the club. It may probably be because I'm introverted and keep to myself but I thought we were here to play Tennis. I love to play Tennis no matter who I'm playing but I'm getting sick of begging the Tennis club guys/girls to play with me or any of the other new guys. It feels like highschool all over again.

I understand that people don't want to play with "lesser" players but eventually those lesser players will become an integral part of the club in the future. I'm decent enough to volley at a fast pace with both hands if you're all wondering.

Have you guys experienced this at a sports club or have your club/team come up with a way to allow everyone to play together?

Do you guys have any good or bad experiences with roommates who play video games? I've had my fair share of roommates over the years and haven't had any horrible experiences yet, knock on wood. I've only had one roommate who loved playing games like I do but the funny thing is, he keeps to himself like I do.

The new term is beginning and I'm worried about who I'm going to be stuck with. The general consensus appears to be that gaming roommates are likely to be terrible in some way, but I have more issue with the overly social college students (you know the types). I have several friends who are the social type of gamer who loves to play games like Super Smash Bros, a game I dislike. Are these types of gamers going to be bothersome to live with?

I haven't played WoW in forever since I quit right before Cataclysm came out, but I feel GW will give you the best bang for your buck. I know that if you like MMOs in general WoW will fill up a lot of your time compared with GW.

It happens to all of us in some way or another. After reading a good book, a story in a video game seems like a typical generic trope filled journey through poor dialogue.
