I didn't even realize they made console gaming peripherals. Their PC devices have been (mostly) decent over the lat ~20 years that I've used them, though. I threw away an old box full of them last year, come to think of it.
I finally put down the Nintendo lather/rinse/repeat cycle after about a year of the Wii... Sure, I'll always remember a great ~25 years of gaming -- particularly these beloved first-party titles -- but I've moved on. I'd be willing to bet that kids in ~10 years won't even know who/what a "Zelda" is.
The main problem here is that it's gone from pseudo-historic themes to pure fantasy... I thought the intent was to ultimately have the series converge with recent history and modern era events, not comic book territory.
It's simple: If you don't like it, don't buy any. After a few more tries (see ME3 MP), if they're not making any real money off microtransactions then they won't bother implementing them anymore.
