Here's my problem...

When I go to options > library > configure sharing > share my media it hangs on share my media when I checkmark it then click okay. It just freezes up for a minute or so then returns with media sharing unchecked! I cannot seem to get media sharing to stay checked.

Any ideas?

Why do you people always have to hate on something good? Always coming up with some goofy reasons to criticize something.

"i hate the ps3 cause it couldnt save me when i was drowning"

"i hate the ps3 cause it doesnt come with a free 747 private Jet!" WTF?

SOLID_SOULJA

Actually...I was looking forward to this. But trust me, it's nothing compared to a solid Logitech setup on PC. I own a PS3 as well as a PC with Q6600, 8800GTX, 2gig ram, logitech G7+G15 setup and love them both equally but I gotta say that the FragFX feels really sloppy. I despise playing fps games with a controller (which is why I don't) and the only way I will is if there is true m/k support for the title.

It's not that it's uncomfortable or I dislike the button setup, etc. It's just that it's not as precise as my Logitech. IMO it's just passable for someone whom doesn't have a proper setup. Maybe someone will offer something better down the pipeline.

Duke is alot more fun than Doom, Quake, and Unreal plus the sequels. It makes those games lame, boring, and strictly by the numbers. I would even say that a new Duke Nukem game would put Crysis to shame with probably only Super Mario Galaxy giving it a threat in the fun meter.

Why is this way? Because you will have an evil grin on your face from start to finish, a fine example of one of life's guilty pleasures. Graphics will be allowed to take the backseat in this game, and hopefully other devs will see this as well. Gameplay needs to be ramped up these days. This title will for example, easily make you wanna throw your entire PS3 library in the trash.

i'm getting a 46in samsung 1080p lcd tv within the next month.....will ps3 games look ok on that kind of system? Or will I be better off using a smaller hdtv, like a 32.

GratefulRed

That 46" Samsung is a sweet display. I've watched Spiderman 3 on it and nearly crapped myself. However, despite what some other owners would say, I find that most X360 and PS3 games look better on my Sony 32" XBR4 LCD. It's a 720p display which will accept a 1080p feed via hdmi and has the 120hz feature (as does the Samsung). Blu-ray movies look equally 3-dimensional on the 46" Sammy and 32" Sony, but games (and movies) look just a slight bit sharper and more 3-d on my Sony versus just about every 40"+ display I've seen.

Opinions vary... and I'm sure many will disagree, but I gave you mine.

Basically I want to know which PS3 model to get. If I already have a PS2, will the 60gb PS3 make that much a difference in picture quality or will it be the same? If not, I'll just go for the 80gb model with Motorstorm.

Price and the free game doesn't bother me. I just want the best setup for old and new games.

Plus, is the 65nm cpu in the 80gb not in the 60gb? Does it make any difference? Last thing I want to do is buy a PS3 now and it go bad on me 3 years or so from now.

Thanks!!!

ps- I have an hdtv that is capable of 1080p, if that makes a difference.

But what about the 65nm cpu? I thought the 60gb model doesn't have this and puts out more heat than the newer 80gb model. Correct me if I'm wrong here.

Blue Ray is only for movies and has no impact on games, 360 is the superior game console and has proven it with graphics games and online. All Ps3 has is BS market hype and fanboys. PS3 is dead get over it. Nugtoka

PS3 dead? Hmm last I checked there are games still being developed for it so your wrong. Another thing to remember is that when PS2 was released, it's games didn't look as hot as it's Dreamcast counterparts at the time and had a pretty sorry collection of games it's first year and a half. Then we all know what happened.

Things are finally starting to look positive for PS3. There putting one foot in front of the other now instead of backwards. Let me know when X360 or Wii obtains a 100+ million userbase.
