Some people won't trust this, but as hopeful optimism I will.

This show imo was the best tv show EVER. Was funnier than MASH and Seinfeld, and never got old. The show was different than other shows (weird camera, no laugh track) but that is what made it great. It only took a few episodes to get the quality us AD had eventuall come to expect, and maintained it through it's ultimately too short run.

If you have never seen this show, rent the first season, and make sure to watch them in order, and I am confident you will come to love the show as I, and far too few others have.

Yea it's Lidstrom, there really isn't an arguement in my opinion.

As far as Chi town's young d-men, isn't Seabrook better/have a higher ceiling?

After it's neidemeyer(sp) in anaheim. When Lidstrom retires, it will probably be Phaneuf or Boumister(sp again) from Florida.

I love hockey, and frankly don't understand the criticisms of it.

It's boring?

-Basketball is boring, running up and down a court is not exciting, get over it

-Watching Baseball on TV is boring as hell, way too slow, I like the sport, but in comparison it lacks.

Can't follow the puck?

-You need glasses

Not enough Scoring?

-Really? You realize football has a lot of points scored because each score is either 3 or 7 right?, if hockey went to that format it would be way higher scoring than the NFL (btw i also live football)

Also I am not a Canadien, there are some American hockey fans.

Go Sabres !

I generally dislike X-play because their constant attempts at "humor" seem to discredit, in a way, their reviewing (only reason I watch is because I like hearing/talking about video games and nowhere else on TV does) but anyway yea it was nice to see more response to the ignorance against Mass Effect.

Sessler's crack about hating her book, while sort of funny at first, is just as ignorant and uninformed as that woman on Fox, and makes him look really petty in my opinion. I know he probably wasn't being serious, he was just demonstrating how she was wrong, but still.

Yea geoff was right on, you don't just answer a yes or no question if you want to see the sex scene, you have to invest time into it to get it. Also, to be fair, there isn't that much nudity in it either. It just bothers me that these anti-games activists are so very misinformed on these things, and come off looking incredibly ignorant in the process.

On a side note, considering how little these anti-games people seem to actually know about the games, it makes you wonder how much the other people they bring on these shows (for things I have less knowledge of) actually know what they are talking about.

Thank you for posting the link.

I liked it, graphics aren't the greatest, story is very good, combat is fun if you don't pick a boring class to play as (druid for instance in my opinion). There are side quests, in fact when you get like 60% ish through it, you get a castle and some of the things you can do for it, while not really side quests were pretty cool, and sort of addicting. There are traditional side quests, but the main quest is the more important part, and it takes a long time to play through (like a 40 hour game).

Bottom line, I say play it.

Haven't played tf2 so...

Half life 2 is the best game ever in my opinion so it's #1 to me.

Half life 2 Ep 2 is second, so very fun, but so very short.

Portal is next, what else could I say that hasn't been said? Reason I have it so low is because it took me like 2 hours to beat, needs a longer experience to be ranked higher.

Episode 1 is last, don't get me wrong I loved this game, but it is clearly the weak link here.

[QUOTE="bojingles4393"]its one of the best when compared to the 360 library of games but on pc its just aiight nothing special except for the fact that it is very atmospheric.Franko_3

Qft, for the console players, the game is basicly the closer they will ever get to a pc-only game. For pc gamer though, the gameis a version ofSystem Shock2 for stupid.

"The game is a version of System Shock 2 for stupid." And I helped with spaces. Anyway, i've been playing pc and console games for about 7ish years, and this is an absurdly great game. I can't believe it didn't win GOTY, and anyone who thinks it was overhyped probably didn't play it, play all the way through it, or are in the extreme minority. The game is fantastic, not just because of plasmids, the shooting aspects are fun, the story is great, and the atmosphere is the best of any game to come out in a while. That's my opinion anyway.

I wouldn't say clunky, but I would say it had a steep learning curve (took me like 2 hours of game time to get used to it) After a while I started to love the combat system though.
