Rockstar has announced that this weekend, the experience gained during the match in multiplayer Read Dead Redemption will be doubled, at the exit of the new DLC Undead Nightmare.

The multiplier has a duration ranging from 6.00pm GMT on Friday at 4.59am on Monday 1 November.

For those unaware of Ultimate Team, which has also been featured in other EA Sports titles, it has you obtaining player cards which allow you to create the best team possible for you to play with. You'll start off with a starter deck of players and as you play the mode, both online and off, you will obtain points to buy more cards and improve your squad. Factors like chemistry and contracts come into play and can allow for some interesting team combinations.

Past version of Ultimate Team were introduced in the second half of the soccer season and usually had you pay for the feature. This time around, the initial set will be free but you can still buy add-ons to improve your squad.

Treyarch has confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops enjoy, oddly enough, to support split-screen mode for multiplayer online. Electronic Arts announced that Medal of Honor will be enriched by a new multiplayer mode as of November 2, 2010, along with two maps.

This is the "Hot Zone", a variant of the typical "King of the Hill" where teams fight for a designated location on a map: a team that manages to maintain its position longer prevails.

In support of such terms also will come two new game maps unpublished, or "Hindu Kush Pass" and "Korengal Outpost" and two new interpretations of existing maps, "Shahikot Valley" and "Helmand Valley." Everything will be downloaded in a package from November 2 to 800 Microsoft Points or $ 9.99. The same day also will be issued free of charge mode "Clean Sweep" also with the new maps "Bagram Hangar" and "Khyber Caves" and the revivals of "Diwagal Camp" and "Kabul City Ruins."

Nintendo has announced a few more details about the new Pokémon Center it's planning on opening soon in the heart of Osaka. The retail outlet, which will swing wide its colorful doors on November 26th, will stuff 2,500 different kinds of purchasable Pokémon goods and a "Union Room," where players can congregate to trade and battle, into 9,000 square feet of retail space, making it the largest Pokémon Center on this, our planet Earth. We want to go to there.

It sounds like a pretty huge ordeal, but it's kind of a waste — all anyone ever does in those places in run to the front desk, heal their dudes, then run back out for more adventures and stuff.

Codemasters revealed today that the new patch for F1 2010, working for a while 'time from the development team, is now ready and waiting to be adopted by Sony and Microsoft.

Once the certification process, the patch will be made available for download, therefore, should not miss much time, probably a matter of days, as reported by the community manager Ian 'Helios' Webster on the official forum.

The patch will be released for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and aims to solve those problems that many users have complained since the early days of launch of the game as bug-related rescues and the pit stop, but also bring some changes as improvements to the damage system, artificial intelligence, simulation of the rain and support for steering wheels. Treyarch said that they chose to put a face and a voice to the protagonist of Call of Duty: Black Ops, Alex Mason, to create a sort of empathic connection between it and the player who controls it. This is the first time in the series in which you want to make sure that the main character creates an emotional bond with the player, then bringing it to have greater care. The opening scene of the game, moreover, sees tortured and this creates an immediate emotional impact with the player, rather strong.

"We thought that if the player had experienced that the character was going through at the very beginning of the game, he really made a connection with him .[...] As you go forward in history, you will see how relationships with other Mason characters in the game change as you enter and exit the interrogation room."

The game is expected on 9 November.

Today, Telltale Games, developer of the project, has released some interesting details especially regarding the target platforms. In fact, the appeal would lack the Xbox 360 and Wii, which are not mentioned by Telltale in the various options within the lineup of sale; Let's see it together anyway. The first to debut on PC and Mac market will be those from next December, followed later by the PlayStation 3 and iPad counterparts in a period still unidentified. The portal VG247, the news source, Telltale has requested through official channels because the absence of these, so we are awaiting further communication in order to shed light on the situation. Finally, one last mention as regards the temporal affairs of this mini series, which will be located after Back to the Future III.
