Hopefully they will be pretty equal... im just worried about another CoD3 fiasco... the ps3 versions framerate sucked... jp6666
Like many of you have already stated this should just be for this game. In the end develops will only get out of the hardware what they put in. CoD4 is being made by a different Dev team and the games should beone their second generation(did CoD2 last) so hopefully that will help.
If we look back at 2001, Xbox had a superior graphics drive, it didn't seem to be that hard to get that extra polish, and every cross PS2/Xbox review would always come with the inevitable 'the graphics/textures look a bit better on the Xbox' line.
But this time things may be different. Right now the playing field is pretty much even between the two consoles, but numbers don't lie (most of the time). In thefuture the RSX and Cell may prove to be a formidable combination. Sony's EDGE software will hopefully allow developers (third-parties in particular because they don't know all the tricks the first-party teams get)to unlock more and more of the console's power. Just look at God of War II and Final Fantasy XII, still pushing the PS2 to its limits and creating amazing results.
If the CoD4 team wanted to make CoD4 (PS3) look just as good as the 360 version or better, then they'd put the effort in.
