@slickr: And if there are only 1 or 2 females in the campaign, while you are surrounded by thousands of male allies and enemies, it can still be an accurate portrayal of your .01% women in WW2 theory. If there are hundreds of women in the game, then yeah, you can cry about it being "fake revisionist history."
And if you are talking women characters in multiplayer, who cares? Multiplayer isn't about historical accuracy. Its about creating a class and avatar to your liking. Its purely cosmetic.
Oh an you know, ITS A VIDEO GAME. Dev's can do whatever they want with THEIR video game that THEY spent THEIR time creating. You don't like it? Don't buy it. Or better yet, go make your own historically accurate game to challenge it.
Jeez, this world is full of extremist SJW's, and extremist anti-SWJ's. You both torture eachother while the rest of us in the middle watch and eat popcorn.
@The_Dragon_Born: From what they have implied and what people who have played the early stages of the game has implied, its going to be a little less crazy, mass murder action like Darksiders 2, and be a bit more difficult from fight to fight, more like Darksouls. It remains to be seen, but I like how each game changes up the style and gameplay enough to make the characters unique in their fighting style.
@Runeweaver: Very true. These are pretty good cult following games, but they aren't heavy hitters in terms of sales numbers and followers. Best to invest those dollars into the game, not a booth at E3.
Bigger map, more stuff to do. No more handful of objectives in each zone that are gone for good once you do them once. Add more stuff like random events or missions that can reward unique gear.
More customization to weapons and gear. Wildlands had the right idea with this. Could you imagine the amount of customization that could be done? With all the different attachments and their different stats, but with parts for more than just magazine, scopes, attachments, and barrel attachments? Like stocks, triggers, barrels, ammo types(Hollow points for +health damage/-armor damage, AP rounds for +armor/-health dmg, swap out shotguns between slugs/buckshot/dragons breath, etc).
An actual talent tree that allows people to build more into a class they would want, rather than just altering stats on gear sets.
Obviously more endgame content.
Guilds/Clan systems, perhaps with faction alliances that reward specific gear or cosmetics.
Just a handful of ideas. Plenty more will need to be implemented.
@Xristophoros: it’s actually quite relevant. People and families don’t want to have to buy an Xbox and copy of the game for every player that wants to play. If you have multiple players in a household, it’s stupid to require them all to have their own Xbox and copy
As long as the reintroduce split screen coop, I am happy. And if they continue with their awesome free content updates like they did with Halo 5, even better. AND if you started doing Crossplay with PC, that would be fantastic as well.
I'll admit, Division was a decent time-sink once they ironed out all the issues from launch. The game today is a massive improvement from the game it was at launch. However, I won't get overtly excited about Division 2 just yet. Division 2 will need some serious improvements and upgrades to it, if they want to entice people back to the series. If they just re-release what Division 1 is today, people won't stick around long.
