Sooooo if it isn't a big budget AAA box office film and put in theaters for $8-$15 per viewer for months, it cant possibly be good enough to earn a fancy pants Oscar? Basically anything on Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc is looked down upon as "lesser" film by people like Spielberg. That is what I am seeing here.
I absolutely love Warhammer games, but unfortunately ALOT of them are just quickly developed and launched and turn out to be very sub par. I really hope this game turns out good, as I think the idea sounds great. But unfortunately with Warhammer games, you just need to wait and see when its released.
Glad to see this. I love Warhammer games when they are fun and successful. I am surprised they have sold so many copies. I thought Vermintide was a pretty under-the-radar type of game. But it looks like gamers still found it. Awesome.
Learn from your mistakes from the first game, continue to improve on the updates you added to Divison 1 and apply them to Division 2, expand on those improvements, and listen to your player base, and you can make a great Division 2 game.
1. Personally, yes please add some sort of faction alliance system. A system like Warframe comes to mind, with syndicates and the temporary alliances would be a nice way to introduce some distinct loot and skins that could be more faction based. Perhaps there can be little factions within the Division ranks with different goals and ideals that you could align yourself with.
2. As people say, lessen the bullet sponge. They have gotten better with this through updates, and would like to see it continually improved upon a bit more in Div2.
3. I would like to see more customization on weapons, make it a bit more extensive. Rather than just scopes, magazines, grips, and barrel attachments. I think Wildlands was on the right track with adding a bit more, including barrels, triggers, stocks, etc. Div2 could add so much more depth to the game by increasing how much you can really customize a weapon specifically to your playstyle. This could also be applied to armor and gear as well.
4. More in depth skills and trees. Skills in Div1 are a bit basic, would like to see more depth to these and their respective trees.
5. Less of an empty open world. Need more of a living, breathing, changing world with more in it that just collectibles and one-time alerts.
Such a strange choice, and honestly she would have been down on the bottom of my list of people to play a villain in a superhero movie(Most likely because I just don't like her at all). But then again, I thought Heath Ledger was a stupid choice to play the Joker, and then he turned out to do a great job.
Ill try and reserve my judgement until I see the movie, I guess.
I really don't think the game tries to have THAT much of a deep political message behind it. I mean, its a game that you can hire a bear named "Cheeseburger" to eat doomsday cultists. Not exactly a real serious game.
If you go into this looking for political agendas, you will find it. Anyone can cherry pick information to reinforce their mindset. Confirmation bias at its best.
Sounds more like this guy went into the game so focused on politics, that he found political agendas everywhere he looked.
Does this mean Dead Island 2 will finally get finished? Oh and please give us another good Saints Row. Can't wait for Darksiders 3! Oh, and I wouldn't mind a Titan Quest 2, thanks!
THQ Nordic is getting some good titles, lets hope they deliver. Excited to see!
