Translation : "We don't think $60 is enough money for a full game, so we are going to break it down into pieces and make you pay $100 to complete the game instead!"

On the one hand, I am VERY excited they are most likely making another Borderlands game. Love em.

But on the other hand, please don't make me wait until March 2019 to play it!! Feel free to release it before that point! I mean, so long as its perfected before then.

Yup, big difference between 21 million copies sold, and 21 million players. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed my time with BF1, but I think a lot of people played that game for a while and then burned out like me.

I am not sure how popular the game is at this point, but I am guessing the active player base is probably under a million?

@jgr9: Hopefully they just allow you to turn aim assist and all that crap of in the PC version. I am glad that most PC games nowadays do allow you to turn stuff like that off.

As long as I can turn off aim assist and mouse acceleration off in the options, that makes me happy.

Lol people calling Ubi out for sounding like they lack confidence. Ubi is about money, and more money is had when you find times to maximize your sells.

Why purposely put out a product at the same time a big competitor puts out a great product of their own?

Businesses of all kinds try to maximize their sales by putting things out when they think they will sell the most. Movies are the same way. No reason to put out a movie the same day against a hyped up, big AAA launch, like say a Star Wars sequel, otherwise you might get overshadowed by the hype of one movie, and yours bombs when it would have otherwise done great. Why not wait a week or so when all the focus can be on YOUR movie?

Doesn't really show a lack of confidence in your product. Just that there is no reason to lose sales by releasing at the same time as a big competitor just for the sake of showing confidence in your product.

True, if they released something the same day as RDR2, Red Dead would probably crush them in sales if someone had to pick one or the other. But release it a few weeks before or after, and you might get some of those RDR2 players buying both products and maximizing your sales.

That might make them pussies for doing that, sure, but in the end, business is all about what makes the most profit. If I could sell 1 million units the same day as RDR2 comes out, or wait a month and sell 5 million units, I am gonna take the 5 million.

"Here are some random numbers we paid some company to cook up to give some hype. Oh and here are some guesswork numbers on how we THINK Destiny 1 would have performed on PC, even though it wasn't on PC, just because we wanna hype up you PC players a little more."

The fact they seemingly reported numbers on Destiny 1 for PC, kind of puts their credibility to question, doesn't it?

I am sure PC players will love getting everything a month or two behind consoles as well. Unfortunately I won't be all that surprised if they actually do sell that many copies. Everyone talks crap on CoD as well, yet they always seem to sell copies.

So he signs a contract with a company to use his song in a production he apparently knew NOTHING about, then complains because it was violent. Did he or his representatives even BOTHER to look at what the song was being used for before signing, or did they just see $$$$$. Sooooo.....

1: He is a moron for signing a deal to allow use of his song without even bothering to look at what it was going to be in.

OR

2: He knew damn well what it was, but because they didn't contact him for his final say, he is claiming ignorance and using his morality as an argument to get more money.

OR

3: Zenimax and Bethesda are morons for not keeping their end of the contract by contacting him for the final approval.

In any case, if it was in the contract, he will win, unless Zenimax can prove otherwise. I guess money will help put this poor mans disgust at ease, because, ya know, money is usually the way to find your morality and enlightenment.....

No complaints from me. Yeah, seems like a slightly strange choice for the actor to portray Hellboy, but then again, he does good work, so maybe he will do well at pulling it off. Interested to see how this turns out.

@Syphon_Filter2: Can't always control who buys up your stock once you go public. If someone wants to sell their shares, and they sell them to Vivendi, you can't really stop that. Those shares are theirs to sell to whomever they want. Anyone with stock in Ubi probably knows to go to Vivendi if they wanna sell quick, so Vivendi probably just has to sit there and let people come to them.
