@agramonte: Agreed. Learned this a long time ago. Its easier to work a few extra hours at a job to buy a game that is clean, than to spend hours downloading something that could leave a nice virus on my PC that takes even more time to get rid of. Definitely not worth it.
Not really surprising. Its a CULT classic. Alot of the people in the current generation weren't even born yet when the original came out. And to be honest, I barely stayed awake during the original. Never understood the hype. But hey, to each their own.
Really, the only major complaints I saw from that article was the menus and skills/equipment stuff being a little sluggish. If that is all that really dropped it down to a 7, aside from a slow ending, I am not worried.
PUBG thinks they own an entire gaming concept here and it is getting ridiculous. Apparently the whole battle royale shooter idea in gaming is theirs alone to use.
I suppose any of you companies that made a 3rd person shooter must be infringing on Bluehole's idea, and you should be sued.
Actually, any of you companies that made a game with GUNS in it, you are infringing on Bluehole's idea, and should be sued.
Actually.....if you EVER made a game, you are infringing on Bluehole's idea, and should be sued.
Aaaaaannnd it's already sold out everywhere. Every place I checked and called only got about 20 consoles each. Good news is you can buy one on Amazon for $200......yay....
Ive called just about every Walmart, Target, Gamestop, etc around my area and they all got about 20 units with 50+ people standing in line already. Don't think Ill be getting one anytime soon.
With these specific rewards, I am gonna go out on a limb and say Dead Orbit will be the winner, assuming the scout rifle is good. Either way, I can almost guarantee New Monarchy isn't winning with a sidearm as a reward. Outside of PvP, they just aren't great. Which makes me very sad because I loved my sidearms in D1.
Would be wonderful to finally see this happen someday, but it seems like whomever is making the most money and success in the current generation of consoles generally doesn't want to share with the rest. Sony is doing well this time around, so it makes sense that they wouldn't be readily hopping onto the idea of crossplay. And it would probably be reversed if Microsoft was killing Sony.
I do applaud Microsoft for trying to encourage cross play, and I do enjoy that they are trying to make cross play with Xbox and PC a little more common as time goes on.
I could be wrong, but I think most gamers would love to be able to play all the games they want to play on the platform of their choice.
