@ltjohnnyrico: True enough. Just kind of felt like, in the beta, there was only a handful of areas that had a good amount of enemies to play around with. While roaming around on side roads and trails and such, never ran into patrols or anything. Could be it was just a starter zone. Could be that not everything has been implemented yet. Could be that it is just how the game is. Won't know until I play snag the game at release.
Not anything groundbreaking or innovative, a bit glitchy in places, needs a bit more stuff to fill in the empty spaces of the world, and definitely needs a bit a polishing, but down the road I think it could be a decent game. Probably not something most people would want to buy on day 1 for $60, but that is really up to a persons preference in what games they enjoy. If they enjoy sandbox, shoot'em ups with moderate stealth and lots of customizations and collectibles, then yeah, they would probably enjoy this game. If they prefer classic Ghost Recon tactical style games, probably not so much. It's really up to the individuals preference.

All good theories. I think so long as they just refine ME3 multiplayer to a new height, it should be great regardless. However, adding in missions or strike modes kind of lie Destiny or Dragon Age Inquisiton would also be a fun new coop mode to add to it. Either way, I expect good things from their Multiplayer anyways.
Game was great, just terrible timing on the release date. I played a lot of it. Just not interested anymore until something new comes out, like Frontier Defense.
I think it will pick up. RE7 was a good game, just scared the crap out of alot of players because of how different they made it. I think more and more people will come around and buy it. Hopefully RE8 isnt the same though. RE7 was great, but it wasn't what I wanted in a RE game.
As far as the gameplay and such, yeah I would give it a 9/10, or possibly a 10/10. It was a great game, very fun, very enjoyable.
However, if I were to rate it by how much it felt like a Resident Evil game, I would say like 5/10. Certainly didn't get a RE vibe from it like I used to get with the previous games. If I didn't know better, I would have thought this was a spinoff of the series, not RE7. Not only was the whole setup of the game different, the storyline was basically a complete spinoff from the main storyline of the series.
Again, nothing bad to say about that game. It was great. Just didn't get the RE feeling and vibe from it. And I was excited to see the next part of the story in the series, but this game was kind of it own little side story.
So considering everything was sold out the entire month of November, is it safe to say they only released about 200,000 of these units in the US? That seems extremely low. Which I guess is supported by the fact that hardly anyone was able to get one, and everyone that wants one is STILL scrambling to get one. Ill just wait a few months and see if they are easier to find.
@markranger: Probably a little bit of both. Probably hyped it and made small stocks to make sure they sold out and got publicity. And at the same time they should have allowed preorders and then kept up with demand if they were gonna sit here for 6 months and hype up their product.
This whole idea of hyping up a product for months and then announcing the day and time its gonna go on sale, without allowing preorders, never ends well for the majority of people. People sit there and bot the sites, buy as much as they can, then resale them for x2 or x3 the price. Most people get screwed.
